Good morning and happy Saturday! It’s going to be a busy day. Next week I’ll be a bit out of commission since we’ll be preparing for the weekend Sacramento trip for my son’s birthday (WWE!) so I am trying to get as much done this weekend to stay on top of things.  First up today I have Quixotic Polish Pendent Flowers on Frail Stems & Butterfly Wings and Things!

Butterfly Wings and Things

Butterfly Wings and Things is a stunning thermal! I actually don’t have any thermals with this transition, so it was a welcome addition to my heaping polish collection.

Butterfly Wings and Things is a medium grey (when warm) to medium smokey purple (when cool) and has gorgeous green to purple shifting shimmer and holo flecks mixed in. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Pendent Flower on Frail Stems

Pendent Flower on Frail Stems is on the sheerer side, but it does build up nicely. Its a medium smokey grey with purple and green shifting shimmer, turquoise to purple to red shifting flakes, as well as iridescent color shifting flakes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

I used to not be a huge fan of grey polishes, but that changed about 4 years ago when I started wearing them more and realized they looked pretty damn good on.  Both of these are beautifully done and while I enjoy both, my favorite is Butterfly Wings and Things.
