New Years Duo & Birthday Polish

Happy New Year everyone! New Year, and I’m going into my 9th year of blogging. At the end of the year I will have been blogging for a decade, and it doesn’t seem like that long, but at other times it does. Anyways, today we’re going to be looking at the Psyche Minerals New Years Duo and Birthday Polish!

I am loving the 3 shades selected because they aren’t typical for New Years or birthdays from what I’ve seen in the indieverse.

First we will look at the birthday polish and then move onto the New Years Duo. These released on the 1st – so you can grab them now! Let’s jump in and take a look.

Psyche Minerals | 35 and Feeling Fine (Magnetic)

35 and Feeling Fine is a teal jelly base with aqua to green shifting iridescent flakes, as well as magnetic pink shimmer. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

The magnetic effect is on the subtle side but more noticeable in person than my photos show.

Psyche Minerals | Champagne Kisses

Champagne Kisses is a blush pink leaning peach creme with a soft linear holographic effect. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Psyche Minerals | Fireworks at Midnight

Fireworks At Midnight is my favorite of the 3 released! This is a black jelly base loaded with green to purple to magenta to blue shimmer. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Psyche Minerals | New Years Duo & Birthday Polish

One thing I noticed when it comes to Psyche Minerals is that her shades differ from what I usually see for releases. In my 9 years of swatching, I can say that about 70% of birthday shades released (again – that I’ve seen/done) are either purple, blue or hot pink. New Years shades? Gold, Silver… blingy usually. So I do like that these are a bit different and not what you’d typically see – but still equally as beautiful.
