Happy Friday! I’m back this month with another 9 items for the Polished Gamers Box for October 2022… and the theme is Puzzle Games!
In case you missed it all Summer – Polished Gamers Box is now an every other month collab instead of a monthly collab. That’s still a newer development – so I figured I would post it again in case you hadn’t seen it yet. Make sure you check out the Facebook group linked at the end of this post so you can see when each month’s sale will take place (as well as each theme)
For the fine details – for all photos shown – I used Vapid Lacquer Commitment Issues Peel Off Base, and for the glossy photos I used Vibrant Vinyls Fast & Hard QDTC. I purchased the Vapid Lacquer Commitment Issues and the top coats were sent as pr or as gifts.
My lighting set up was changed recently. So now, since I use artificial lighting due to my day job, my new set up involves 2 Neatfi XL Lamps from Amazon (affiliate link) as well as this Daylight Company Duo Daylight Lamp (affiliate link).

Atomic Polish | Rusty Lake
Inspiration: Rusty Lake game developer. They create creepy mobile escape puzzle games like Cube Escape and Rusty Lake Hotel.
Description: Rusty Lake has a pale teal base and is filled with aurora pigment that shifts red to gold to green. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
This is a sheerer shade, and if you have a strong VNL it will show through

Black Dahlia Lacquer | Tetris
Inspiration: We were inspired by our favorite puzzle game, Tetris.
Description: Tetris is a cool-toned smoky purple crelly with yellow, green, orange, red, aqua, lavender and bright blue squares of various sizes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Inspiration: Jelly bears in candy crush soda.
Description: Free A Bear is a bright teal jelly base loaded with teal reflective glitters and pale silvery blue mirror iridescent flakes. I used 3 thin coats, a glitter smoother topper and a glossy top coat for these photos.
This will dry with mild texture unless you use the glitter smoother and top coat, or 2 coats of top coat.

Glam Angel Cosmetics | Princess Zelda Liquid Lip
Inspiration: Poster of Princess Zelda and her beautiful dress with the light purple flap going down the front.
Description: Princess Zelda is a multi-purple shimmer with flashes of slight blue, pink and violet.
Liquid Lip from Glam Angel Cosmetics is a hybrid lip gloss/liquid lipstick. The coverage and opacity is like lipstick but it’s light weight and super shiny like a gloss. It’s non sticky and applies nice and evenly. The doe foot applicator has a precision tip as well to make lining and filling in super easy while applying.
I used 1 coat on the lip and got full coverage. It is not a matte or stay put type liquid lip, so after eating or drinking – you will most likely need to reapply.

Lemming Lacquer | Now You’re Thinking With Portals
Inspiration: Inspired by Portal.
Description: Now You’re Thinking With Portals is a deep blue jelly with fiery microflakes shifting red to copper to gold to green. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
This is a semi sheer jelly base but the shimmer flecks help give the illusion of stronger opacity

LynBDesigns | Fiendish Behavior
Inspiration: Inspired by the slippery slope that is Best Fiends. I’m on level 920 😬and Pop is my favorite fiend
Description: Fiendish Behavior is a grape purple tinted jelly base with pink to orange shifting shimmer, pink to orange shifting flakes and pink to purple shifting flakes, as well as scattered holo flakes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
This is a tinted base and your VNL will likely show through.

Inspiration: Inspired by the Nickelodeon game show legends of the hidden temple. Full of puzzles to work through.

Treo Lacquer | Island of Myst
Inspiration: I played Myst way back in the day when it was an absolutely groundbreaking puzzle game. I adore how immersive it was! And how beautiful and challenging. I devoured the whole series like a zealot. So it had to be my inspiration!
Description: Island of Myst is a warm earthy brown crelly filled with green to blue aurora shimmer and green to blue iridescent flakes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Polished Gamers Box October 2022 | Puzzle Games
As a whole – I adore this selection of polishes. Each one is a shade I would wear normally and would pick up. This includes the Liquid Lip – I love purpley tones.
