Happy Monday! I’m getting ready to leave Tinley Park after the Polish & Beauty Expo and thought I would push this post through before the drive back to Massachusetts! This month for the Polished Gamers Box for July 2024, the theme is Heroes vs Villains … and I have 11 items to share!
I really love the assortment this month!
So the basics… Polished Gamers Box used to be a monthly box, then it was a bi-monthly box, but now it’s moved into being a quarterly box. Basically each box is themed with some sort of gaming – might specifically be a game or it can be broader like board games or retro games or it could be a genre of games. The box is open from the 15th of the month until the 20th. Then it closes – totals are sent to makers and it can take about 3-4 weeks before shipping starts up since makers have to get their total sold to HQ to prep for shipping.
For the fine details – for all photos shown – I used Vapid Lacquer Commitment Issues Peel Off Base, and for the glossy photos I did Monarch Lacquer Hi-Def Shine Top coat (sent as PR and I’ve also purchased, also affiliate link). My nails are clear gel nails as well (Apres Gel X) so VNL doesn’t show much… but if you can see through my nail tip – your VNL will show through the polish.
My lighting set up involves 2 Neatfi XL Lamps from Amazon (affiliate link) as well as this Daylight Company Duo Daylight Lamp (affiliate link). I do use artificial lighting due to my day job and not being around much during daylight hours.

Description: Burning Wind is a deep red jelly base with gold to orange glass flakes, red to gold to orange to green multichrome flakes and red & black metallic flakes. i used 3 thin coats, glitter smoother and glossy top coat for these photos.

Inspiration: Dungeons & Dragons – Inspired by fan art of a witch in D&D who commands dragons.
Description: Dragon Witch 2.0 is a deepened pink jelly base with pink to gold to green magnetic pigment, orange to pink to gold to green flakes and holo flakes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
I only magnetized the middle and ring nails so you can see it both ways.

Rain Dance Lacquer | Riddle Master
Inspiration: Inspired by The Sphinx from Dragon’s Dogma 2
Description: Riddle Master is a rich teal jelly polish that’s packed with shifting crystal flakes and has a delicate purple magnetic pull. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
The magnetic pull is more subtle and I only magnetized the middle and ring nail so you can see it worn both ways.
