Happy Thursday! I have another post for you today.. and it’s the Polished Gamers Box for July 2023 and the theme this month is Lego!
Look at all those pretties.
So the basics… Polished Gamers Box used to be a monthly box, then it was a bi-monthly box, but now it’s moved into being a quarterly box. This quarter I received 7 polishes.
There’s no video this time because I’m about to fly out to Chicago and I simply didn’t have time to also do the video.
Basically each box is themed with some sort of gaming – might specifically be a game (like this month is Legos) or it can be broader like board games or retro games. The box is open from the 15th of the month until the 20th. Then it closes – totals are sent to makers and it can take about 3-4 weeks before shipping starts up since makers have to get their total sold to HQ to prep for shipping.
For the fine details – for all photos shown – I used Vapid Lacquer Commitment Issues Peel Off Base, and for the glossy photos I used Vibrant Vinyls Fast & Hard QDTC. I purchased the Vapid Lacquer Commitment Issues and the top coat was sent as pr.
My lighting set up was changed recently. So now, since I use artificial lighting due to my day job, my new set up involves 2 Neatfi XL Lamps from Amazon (affiliate link) as well as this Daylight Company Duo Daylight Lamp (affiliate link).

All Mixed Up Lacquers | Sittin’ On Cloud Cuckoo
Inspiration: Unikitty from the Lego Movie Game
Description: Sittin’ On Cloud Cuckoo is a super sheer milky base with pink/gold shimmer, scattered holo flakies, metallic flakies in different colors, and hex glitters. Can be built to a base or worn as a topper… I wore it in 3 thin coats, a glitter smoothing topper and glossy top coat.
A few of the shred flakes were bent a little and I plucked those off with tweezers.

Rain Dance Lacquer | The Thing
Inspiration: The Thing from Lego Marvel Superheroes
Description: The Thing is a golden starburst orange jelly base loaded with pinky-orange to gold shimmer and delicate holographic micro flakes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
It’s a little more toned down in person – my camera picked up a lot of the orange tones
