Happy Monday! Well, it’s Monday here and about to be Monday across the US.. so – it is what it is. That means I have to be up for work in about 5 hours as well. Yay me. I wanted to finish my Polished Gamers Box for August 2022 post though.. and the theme this month is KIRBY!
While HHC’s post this month felt very Fall-esque… PGB still feels very much like Summer.
In case you missed it all Summer – Polished Gamers Box is now an every other month collab instead of a monthly collab. That’s still a newer development – so I figured I would post it again in case you hadn’t seen it yet.
For the fine details – for all photos shown – I used Vapid Lacquer Commitment Issues Peel Off Base, and for the glossy photos I used Vibrant Vinyls Fast & Hard QDTC. I purchased the Vapid Lacquer Commitment Issues and the top coats were sent as pr or as gifts.
I do use artificial lighting for my photos. I get the most done at night, so I swatch a lot at night. My current setup uses GlamCor Pro LIghts and I use the Ultra X Model and this Daylight Company Duo Daylight Lamp (affiliate link).

Atomic Polish | ChuChu (Paid PR)
Inspiration: Chuchu, who first appeared in Kirby’s Dreamland 3 on SNES
Description: ChuChu is an orange jelly base loaded with gold to pink aurora pigment. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Description: Last One Standing is a white crelly base loaded with blue aurora shimmer, as well as a neon rainbow assortment of matte circle glitters and iridescent yellow hex glitters. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Glam Angel Cosmetics | Kirby and the Forgotten Land
Inspiration: Kirby and the forgotten land posters
Description: Kirby and the Forgotten Land Liquid Lip is a bubblegum pink with pink shimmer.
Liquid Lip from Glam Angel Cosmetics is a hybrid lip gloss/liquid lipstick. The coverage and opacity is like lipstick but it’s light weight and super shiny like a gloss. It’s non sticky and applies nice and evenly. The doe foot applicator has a precision tip as well to make lining and filling in super easy while applying.
I used 1 coat on the lip and got full coverage. It is not a matte or stay put type liquid lip, so after eating or drinking – you will most likely need to reapply.
