Press Samples for the Polished Gamers Box

Tomorrow will be the shop opening for the Polished Gamers Box for August 2021 – and the theme is Legend of Zelda!
I have 6 items this month and I still remember playing the Legend of Zelda on Nintendo with that gold cartridge. We still have it in my son’s gaming room tucked away in a box. My mom used to play it all the time too (she swapped between Zelda, Dr Mario, Tetris, Paperboy and Bubble Bobble)
As always – the Polished Gamers Box shop will be from the 15th through the 20th.
For the fine details – for all photos shown – I used Vapid Lacquer Commitment Issues Peel Off Base and Vibrant Vinyls Fast & Hard Top Coat. I purchased the Vapid Lacquer Commitment Issues, but the Vibrant Vinyls Top Coat is a PR item sent to me for review. I do however admin for both Fan Groups for those 2 brands.
I do use artificial lighting for my photos. I get the most done at night, so I swatch a lot at night. My current setup uses GlamCor Pro LIghts and I use the Ultra X Model and this Daylight Company Duo Daylight Lamp (affiliate link).

Garden Path Lacquers | Don’t Steal Them!
Inspiration: Don’t Steal Them!’ is inspired by Legend of Zelda’s Tingle and his well-known catchphrase. “Tingle, Tingle! Kooloo-Limpah! These are the magic words that Tingle created himself. Don’t steal them!”
Description: Don’t Steal Them is a grass green jelly base loaded with blue to green shifting aurora shimmer and gold to copper to green shifting iridescent flakes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Description:The Shadow Link Inspired Necklace is a round, black pendent setting with a 25mm glass cabochon painted with Polished For Days ‘Milky Way’ which is described as a bright navy base with a strong copper shimmer and bright red micro flakes and it is topped with Tonic Polish ‘Uba Tuba’ which is an aqua-indigo shifting unicorn pee sister topper with iridescent blue flakies, very similar to the OG Unicorn Pee topper.
It comes with both an 18″ (with 2″ extender chain) purple organza ribbon necklace plus an 18″ (with 2″ extender chain) black faux leather cord necklace. The pendant is 1″ in diameter. The pendant is made from a zinc alloy metal and is lead and nickel free The necklaces are ribbon and faux leather. The cabochon is glass.
The flakes in this pendant just have that beautiful glowy look and it’s super shimmery. Very pretty and the flakes definitely catch your eye.

Description: A Link To The Sword is a vibrant green creme based scattered holographic with soft gold shimmer. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Polished Gamers Box August 2021 | Legend of Zelda
Truth be told – green is among my least favorite colors to wear. I appreciate shades of green – but it’s not one I typically reach for. However – when I saw it would be Legend Of Zelda, I mentally prepared myself for green and … that’s exactly what I got. All of the polishes I received are very wearable shades of green for me and they looked pretty good on. Application was good and no issues to mention.
