Polished by KPT is turning 3 and to celebrate they are releasing 3 new thermals!  This Anniversary Trio consists of Calypso, Swimming With Mermaids and Penelope.

I’ve had the pleasure of working with Polished by KPT now for almost a year, and a few weeks ago got to have lunch with her and 2 other fabulous bloggers!

Ok onto the gorgeous thermals!

Calypso

Calypso is a “warm sensitive” thermal which transitions from a rich royal purple when cold to a light magenta when cold. It’s packed with multi-dimensional sliver holographic glitters.

Above shows Calypso in it’s cold state.  Below is in it’s warm state.

I used 3 thin coats for these photos and a glossy top coat.

Swimming With Mermaids

Swimming with Mermaids is a “warm sensitive” thermal which transitions to a green and when warm you can see some teal to a light blue. It is packed with multi-dimensional sliver holographic glitters.

Above is Swimming With Mermaids in it’s cold state, below is in it’s warm state.

I used 3 thin coats for these photos and a glossy top coat.

Penelope

Penelope threw me for a loop. I kid you not, I emailed Katherine and said “It’s not working” … then she informed me it was cold sensitive, unlike the rest.  Go me.

Penelope is a “cold sensitive” thermal which transitions from a purple when cold and a vibrant almost neon pink when warm. It’s filled with blue and violet shimmers.

Above is Penelope in it’s warm state and below it’s in it’s cold state.

I used 3 thin coats for these photos.

Overview

This is a stunning trio, with my favorite being Penelope! All 3 had flawless application and I used 3 coats for full opacity.  The colors are vibrant and the shimmer/glitter is distributed well through each shade.
