Wow these months keep sneaking up on me! This month school started and Jacob is on distance learning, so I’ve been helping out with that adjustment and its… weird. I mean we finished last year off with distance learning, but that was more thrown together and hectic. This still kind of feels thrown together and hectic (my life in a nutshell) but I like how they set it up and his school is so receptive to parent feedback.

Anyways, it was a hectic month, and now it’s time to look at my swatches and reviews for the Polish Pickup October 2020 and the theme is Animation!

So this is actually my biggest month to date. Previously I topped out at 118, and this month I have 120 here and done, but I am still waiting on 2-3 items in the mail. So once those arrive, I will be at 122 or 123 items.

We’re seeing a lot more “fall” this month. Dustier shades, deeper shades, more blues for sure. A couple makers weren’t ready to release those brights so we have a little of that sprinkled in as well.

For all photos shown – I used Vapid Lacquer Commitment Issues Peel Off Base, Sweet & Sour Lacquer Gloss Sauce (this top coat is gifted to me by the maker in giant quantities, which I so appreciate) as top coat (except for the photos showing Glisten & Glow, Top Shelf Lacquer and Vibrant Vinyls), and Anchor & Heart Lacquer Matte Top Coat unless otherwise specified.

I do use artificial lighting for my photos. I get the most done at night, so I swatch a lot at night. My current setup uses GlamCor Pro LIghts and I use the Ultra X Model and this Daylight Company Duo Daylight Lamp.

Whatcha | Mordecai Oooh

Inspiration: Inspired by Mordecai from Regular Show

Description: Mordecai Oooh is a medium periwinkle crelly base with aqua to blue to violet shifting iridescent flakes and matte black micro glitter. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

This was surprisingly opaque for a crelly and I was able to get satisfactory opacity in 2 coats. However, if you have a strong VNL, you might need a third coat.

Whatcha Color? Kit | Whatcha

Inspiration: Inspired by Dexter

Description: Whatcha brings us a kit to create 3 polishes (and more if you have supplies, but they provide 3 bottles.) The 3 provided bottles already contain base and different finishes. One is holo micro glitters, one is holo and one is iridescent flakes. Then you get 3 liquid pigments in glass vials (blue, red and yellow) that you can mix into the different bases to create a custom polish.

I created one so far – and it’s shown below.

This is a fun kit, but I will caution to be careful while opening the pigment vials. The stoppers are to prevent leaking, but if you open them fast or roughly, you might get a pigment spray. I personally didn’t make a mess, but I can see it happening if you aren’t careful.

The caps of the pigments all have “wands” on them (plastic, not brush like) and I would dip that wand back into the pigment to gather some, then wipe it off into the neck of the bottle I wanted the color in (I used the flake base.) I wanted purple, so I did 3 swipes of the red and 3 of the blue and poof – I got my purple.

Fairly easy to use and a very neat concept. Again though – be careful opening the pigments.

What Addiction? | Dark Phoenix

Inspiration: Inspired by Jean Grey of the X-Men as the Phoenix

Description: Dark Phoenix is a burgundy-red with a tinge of brown jelly base with aurora shimmer, gold micro flakes and dark green metallic shreds. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

First coat was rather sheer, but it does build up. If you have a strong VNL, you may need a base “foundation” or even just a slightly tinted base coat. It isn’t super sheer, but just enough that you might show some VNL

Vibrant Vinyls | Scented Sticky Ridge Filling Base Coat in Apple Jack

Inspiration: Inspired by Apple Jack from My Little Pony

Vibrant Vinyls | Scented Quick Dry Top Coat in Apple Jack

Inspiration: Inspired by Apple Jack from My Little Pony

Description: Fast & Hard Quick Dry Top Coat is a super glossy top coat that can be used over wet polish, floated over nail art and dries rock hard in 15 minutes.

The scent this month is Apple Jack and it’s an incredible scent of Red Delicious Apples. Pure and true. The smell you get when you first chomp into a fresh red delicious… that’s what this smells like.

Side note – I bought a plate from AliExpress like 2 months ago and it happened to arrive the same day as the base and top coat… and it had a My Little Pony image. Unfortunately the etching was iffy so it didn’t turn out like I wanted.

Vapid Wax | Narf!

Inspiration: Pinky & The Brain

Description: Narf! is a pale green wax with blue microglitters sprinkled on top and the scent is pumpkin cookie pancakes and syrup. When I initially sniffed it, the syrup scent is what I immediately got, then the pumpkin scent flowed through more. It does have a slight “spice” scent mingled in with the pumpkin and syrup as well.

It’s an interesting scent, and you’d have to like syrup to really love this one. I enjoy it, and when melting – it smells like someone actually got up early enough to make some pancakes around here. Too bad we’re all late sleepers so that’s not happening.

Vapid Lacquer | You Lost the Substance by Grasping at the Shadows (Tri-Thermal)

Inspiration:Inspired by Aeon Flux

Description: You Lost the Substance by Grasping at the Shadows is a tri thermal that shifts from a deep blurple (cold) to medium denim blue (warm) to pale greyish blue (hot), with magnetic ultra chrome shifting flakes that shift purple to blue to green. The magnetic effect is very scattered and subtle. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Initially when magnetizing I saw a faint line, but within minutes it scattered to a point that it was barely detectable.

Body Cream by Vapid. | You lost the Substance by Grasping at the Shadows

Inspiration: Inspired by Aeon Flux

Description: You Lost the Substance By Grasping At The Shadows body lotion is a goats milk lotion that soaks in nicely and leaves skin soft. This months scent is a unisex, slightly spicey scent that is perfect for Fall if you are looking for something that’s not “typical”

The official profile for the scent is ‘hints of earthy woods, cedar, crackling sandalwood, red wine and blackberries, marshmallow brings a light smooth subtlety to this blend. Smokey tobacco flower is intoxicating and blends with amber, cocoa and whiskey to perfection.

My nose picks up the earthy musk scent and there is a spicey bite to it. It’s the type of scent that makes me think “this would pair nicely with leather” – it’s that type of scent. Warm and definitely unisex. I like the scent, however Nick doesn’t since he prefers clean, crisp scent. I like slightly more complex scents like this.

Unicorn Magic Skincare | Deluxe Lip Balm Duo

Inspiration: Inspired by The Simpsons

Description: This month Unicorn Magic Skincare brings us a deluxe lip balm duo that I am so going to use up. Both glide on super smooth and leave my lips soft without feeling like it is leaving behind a thick film or sticky residue to my lips. The balm itself doesn’t have a taste but it is scented.

Each Lip Balm is made with local beeswax and organic jojoba oil and a touch of castor oil for shine.

One lip balm is scented in Strawberry Glazed Donut and the other is Chocolate Glazed Donut.

Description: Let Me Be Your Wings is a white crelly base with gold shimmer, gold holo glitters, and matte aqua, blue and periwinkle hex glitters, plus it comes with a baggie of stars in matching colors. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

I love how delicate this shade is.

Turtle Tootsie Polishes | Mystery Machine

Inspiration: Inspired by Scooby Doo’s Mystery Machine Van

Description: Mystery Machine is a turquoise crelly based scattered holo with neon green and orange hex glitters and gold flakes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

I do classify the base as more crelly but it does lean into creme territory and builds up nicely.

Treo Lacquer | It Would Be the Last Unicorn That Came to Molly Grue (Thermal)

Inspiration:Inspired by the meeting of Molly Grue and the Last Unicorn. Molly had waited her whole life to see a unicorn and was upset that she finally met one when she was no longer a young maiden, but quickly found it in her heart to forgive the unicorn.

Description: It Would Be the Last Unicorn That Came to Molly Grue is a medium-deep blue (cold) to translucent lavender-orchid purple (hot) thermal with red to gold to green shifting ultrachrome chameleon flakes, as well as pink shimmer. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

The Soapy Chef | Resin Coated Shot Glass/Water Marbling Cup

Inspiration: Inspired by “one of my favorite shows, Bob’s Burgers. This is an actual quote by Linda Belcher when a man tried to hit on her!”

Description: The Soapy Chef brings us a light weight, stainless steel shot glass that can be used as a shot glass, or for water marbling! The cup is the perfect size to water marble in. I had planned to water marble with it for this post, however – I moved in late July and don’t have many polishes that water marble at this point to be able to show that.

each cup features a red and white watermarbling design on the outside that is sealed with a resin coating, and it has a scattered holo effect as well.

It can also be used just for decoration for the Bob’s Burgers fans.

The Lady Varnishes | Potatoes & Molasses

Inspiration: Inspired by Over the Garden Wall

Description: Potatoes & Molasses is a sheer, ivory crelly base loaded with pale gold shimmer and black microflecks. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

I do not have an opaque nail line, and I can see it still after 3 thin coats – so that gives you a slight idea of how sheer this is. It’s very delicate, but if you have a stronger nail line that i do – I do suggest a foundation shade for full opacity.

Sweet Heart Polish | Smell the Peppermint Roses

Inspiration: Inspired by the 90’s short lived cartoon Peppermint Rose and the perfume filled dolls.

Description: Smell the Peppermint Roses is a magenta pink jelly base full of holo micro glitters. I used 3 thin coats for these photos and 2 coats of top coat for a smooth, glassy finish.

This has microglitters, so it will have a slight texture. I used 2 coats of top coat, however at first 1 seemed to do the job, but then it “settled” in hours later (I wore this one for a full day since I was going to a meeting for my son’s school) and when I got home I did a 2nd top coat.

PS – I need a rainbow assortment of microglitters like this please and thank you.

Top Coat by Sweet & Sour Lacquer | Gloss Sauce 4-Free QDTC

Inspiration:

Description: I’ve been featuring Gloss Sauce on my blog for months now and at least the last… 5 or 6 months worth of blog posts have primarily featured this top coat. Darlene of Sweet & Sour sends me giant refill bottles of it, which I’m incredibly grateful for. On top of that, the top coat is glossy, dries fast and plays well with a variety of polishes I use.

She also just sent me a bottle of matte top coat to try out, so I’ll let you know how that goes as well soon.

I’ve recommended it to a few people who have directly asked as well – and so far they all said they really liked it too.

Swamp Gloss | The Renegade

Inspiration: Inspired by Tron Uprising

Description: We have a couple new-to-PPU makers this month, and Swamp Gloss is one of them! The Renegade is a deep emerald green with subtle red to green shifting shimmer, iridescent flakes and metallic copper flakes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

This is my second (maybe 3rd) time trying Swamp Gloss and I have yet to be disappointed. The formula is really nice and the color combos are well done and have a unique touch to them.

Supernatural Lacquer | Room on the Broom

Inspiration: Inspired by short animation film based on the Julia Donaldson children’s book

Description: Room on the Broom is a deep night sky blue crelly base with orange to gold to green multichrome shimmer and translucent white flakes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

This is deeper in person, but the crelly leaning jelly base allows light to pass through which lightens the color a bit under my lighting.

Description: 3 pack of high quality, vibrant vinyl stickers measuring 2.5”-3”. Stick them on your Helmer, laptop, water bottle, anywhere! They last approximately 1 year on outdoors surfaces.

These are super cute and nice quality. I haven’t placed mine anywhere just yet, mainly because I’m still deciding which one I want on my Macbook.

The white base is softer so it’s not that stark white, so it actually looks better against a variety of skin tones.

Inspiration: Inspired by the animated movie 9. 9 is the youngest of the group that represents the Scientist’s humanity, bigheartedness, thoughtfulness, and sincerity. He is very intelligent, but he can make mistakes due to his curiosity. He seeks the truth in the history of his creation, and wishes to know the meaning of life.

Description: The Source is a bright lime green creme with a VERY subtle scattered holographic effect as well as lime to orange shifting shimmer mixed in. It is brighter in person, as I didn’t use brighter lighting so the shimmer could be seen better. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for thes ephotos.

Inspiration: Inspired by The Tau System, and the miniature model of it in a glass case, in the third season of Sailor Moon

Description: Starlight and Sparkles brings us a keychain polish bottle with silver holo, holo, and black stars and slightly larger silver holo stars fall through a surrounding sparkle of shining dark grey tiny flakies, holographic microflakes, dark colored tiny glitter, and green to purple shifting aurora pigment

This is super cute and I have it attached to my purse currently.

Soaplicious | Pink Lady

Inspiration: The Pink Panther

Description: Another new to PPU maker is Soaplicious! Pink Lady Soaps are handmade in small batches with all natural ingredients like olive and coconut oil, shea butter, kaolin clay and mineral micas… and this one is scented with almond biscotti fragrance oil and it’s light, sweet and yummy!

The soap has a nice lather and the scent isn’t overpowering.

Buttercream Soap Frosting by Skyline Soapworks | Rumbly In My Tumbly

Inspiration: Inspired by the one and only Winnie the Pooh and his love for honey.

Description: Soap Frosting is a whipped soap that lathers up nicely and is fun to use. My son absolutely LOVES these and prefers using these to wash his hands with in his bathroom. I also loves these to shave my legs with. Perfect texture and doesn’t dry my legs out.

October’s scent is honey with a splash of citrus and floral notes blended with warm vanilla musk.

The scent is definitely more honey to me, but the vanilla musk comes through to give it a more mature scent. I don’t detect strong florals at all, but there is a very very light undertone.

Skyline Soapworks | Honey & Amber Artisan Dip Powder

Inspiration: Inspired by Winnie the Pooh and his love for HONEY!

Description: The Dip Powder is Honey & Amber, and it’s my favorite she done for PPU so far! Honey & Amber is a sparkly, golden powder with amber colored foil flakes. This is only for the powder, but you can purchase the base and topper for dip powders on Amazon. No curing needed and easier to do than expected! This shade is just elegant on, and I adore it

This is for the powder only. I do have a 3 piece nail dip liquids set I bought on Amazon before, which is what I used with this powder. No “curing” with a lamp and nothing was overly difficult for me. You will also need files – like buffing blocks to smooth over the dip when done.

For all steps I used, I went by this Youtube Video, and I do suggest you take a look as she’s very helpful – especially for beginners like me.

Serum No. 5 | Samurai Remix (Glow In The Dark)

Inspiration: Inspired by the anime Samurai Champloo

Description: Samurai Remix is a brick red polish filled with micro holographic glitters in shades or red, pink and silver, filled with flakes , a dusting of holographic pigment and glows green in the dark. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Dries down with a slight texture, but 1 coat of top coat should smooth it out just fine. It is possible to need 2 coats of top coat depending on how thick your top coat is.

Sassy Sauce Polish | I Swear on My Mothers Rechargeable Batteries

Inspiration: Inspired by Rosie from The Jetsons

Description: I Swear on My Mother’s Rechargeable Batteries is a cornflower blue linear holo base with a violet shift and some intense blue to violet shifting ghost flakes and red holo glitter. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Inspiration: Inspired by The Power Puff Girls

Description: Girl Power is a super-sparkly linear and scattered holographic base with assorted pink, purple and light celadon glitters, with a color shifting chameleon shimmer. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Sassy Cats Lacquer | No Capes!

Inspiration: Sassy Cats Lacquer was inspired by The Incredibles when she plan his new supersuit. 

Description: No capes! is a red jelly base packed with gold to green to orange to red to yellow shifting flakes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Soy-Based Polish Remover by Rogue Lacquer | Tiki Tiki Room

Inspiration:

Description: This is a soy based polish remover so it is gentler on the skin and nails. This is a 2 oz bottle of remover in a glass bottle. Soy based removers are generally better for the nails since they contain vitamins and oils to moisturize, strengthen and hydrate while still effectively removing polish. They do not work as quick as pure acetone – but they do still get the job done.

It is going to feel a bit oily! Instead of normal remover, this uses a mix of oils to break down and remove polish.

Tiki Tiki Room is scented with a blend of tropical soda and fruit loops, so you catch notes of lemon, lime, pineapple and other exotic fruits.

Rogue lacquer | Goin’ Down the Bayou

Inspiration: Inspired by The princess and the frog scene with the song goin down the bayou.

Description: Goin’ Down The Bayou is a slate grey jelly leaning crelly base loaded with orange to copper to gold to green color shifting flakes, as well as holographic micro flakes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

While I do consider this crelly, it definitely toes the line into jelly territory and is sheer on first coat. It does build up and while still a tiny sheer on the third coat, the flakes within it give the illusion of more opacity. The sheerer state of the crelly really lets those flakes shine and glow though!

Red Eyed Lacquer | Pink Elephants

Inspiration: Inspired by The Pink Elephants in Dumbo!

Description: Pink Elephants is a purple to violet to pink to copper shifting multichrome with purple shifting aurora shimmer added. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Red Eyed Lacquer | Da-Balmer

Inspiration: Inspired by the scene in Dumbo with the Pink Elephants when Dumbo drinks something he’s *ahem* not supposed too…

Description: Da-Balmer is a cross between a balm and body butter. It’s creamy like a body butter but has a more emollient feel like a balm would. It’s an intensive treatment you can use anywhere (I love it on cuticles of course) but a little goes a long way. If you use too much – it will feel very oily (like a balm would) so start with a little and build up if you need more.

Wax Sampler by Pretty Beautiful Unlimited | Saturday Morning

Inspiration: Inspired by Saturday morning cartoon watching

Description: 15 scent sampler inspired by Saturday morning cartoons and breakfast food! Of course, there’s a random charm within each sampler as well!

I found this one didn’t self level right away.. it was a touch thick for my preference, so while I left it alone for my review, I will most likely be adding a few drops of thinner for future use.

Matterhorn Oils | Jawbreaker

Inspiration: Inspired by Jawbreaker

Description: Jawbreaker is a sugary confection blend of spun sugar, lime, orange, strawberry and blue raspberry. This oil smells just like a jawbreaker!

My nose primarily picks up the citrus – lime and orange, but then the other scents mingle in as well – but the citrus notes are the standouts for me. Then it’s given a sweetness from the spun sugar and it’s making me want some candy.

Now I know Matterhorn Oil says beard and hair care on the bottle – but this is so much more than that.

Nick uses Matterhorn Oils for his beard. Jacob and I both use it for our hair. After showering, add a few drops to your palm (I do about 8-12 drops because I have long, thick hair) and rub it in my palms, then I “scrunch” my hair in my hands and distribute throughout. Jacob does the same, but since his hair is considerable shorter – he only uses about 4-6 drops. It adds a nice scent to your hair and softens it up.

BUT THAT’S NOT ALL! You can also use this oil on your cuticles or rough skin areas. Elbows, knees, heels – or just apply it on your skin to moisturize a bit. I also use it on my legs after shaving cause it makes em look nice. Not too much though. A little goes a long way.

Small Rectangular Stamper | Hit the Bottle Polishes

Inspiration:

Description: This is a small rectangular stamper, and the stamper head is the same firmness as the Double Shot stamper that Hit The Bottle has offered in Polish Pickup before (if you remember that one.) This is not a sticky stamper, and I find this type works best for me.

When using, gently roll the stamper across the image. Like barely “kiss” the plate with the stamping head in a rolling motion. If you apply too much pressure it won’t pick up properly.

Plus the backing is clear so you can easily see placement.

The etching of the plate is nicely done and I had no issues.

Cuticle Oil Duo | Different Dimension

Inspiration: Inspired by Spongebob Squarepants

Description: The first cuticle oil is Who Lives In A Pineapple Under The Sea which is a tropical pineapple with vanilla and coconut notes.

The second is Secret Formula, which is a fresh banana blended with sweet grapefruit, mandarin orange, kiwi, coconut cream, pink raspberries, strawberries and apple.

Both smell amazing, but Who Lives In A Pineapple is my favorite of the two. I cannot get enough of the pineapple scented goodies!

Description: Cuticula is back with another Confection Duo! This time we’ve got Pink Sugar Heart and Moon Prism Power, Cake Up.

Pink Sugar Heart smells like sweet tarts and pink sugar. For a long time pink sugar was my most worn scent, so that’s an instalove for me personally. The sweet tart scent helps bring it down a notch and shift from super sweet to a little tart and sweet.

Moon Prism Power, Cake Up! is a birthday cake with buttercream frosting! Smells delicious and makes me want to just sit here with a vat of buttercream and a spoon. And yes, a vat. I have a sweet tooth.

Confection Nail Fortifier it a light-medium in thickness nail and cuticle cream that helps the cuticles and nails stay hydrated and healthy.

Reptar Bar Lip Balm | Color Spectrum Polish

Inspiration: Inspired by Rugrats famous Reptar Bar

Description: This month’s lip balm from Color Spectrum Polish is scented with a mix of smooth white chocolate, cocoa beans and rich cream mixed with a creamy, sweet and buttery frosting along with warm butter, vanilla bean, sweet sugar, nutty nuances, rum and hints of powdered sugar.

When applied I can smell the white chocolate immediately and some of the frosting and rum.

The lip balm is tinted green, however – it goes on clear.

In person, the cold color is more purple – but in photos it came up as blue. I can’t color correct well enough to fix the area without altering the warm color too.

Description: Princess Hand is a 2-in-1 product and you can use it for basic hydration, or to help soften cuticles for removal. I’ve only used it for hydration – and just for that alone, it is a really good product. It’s a thinner formula, inbetween a cream and a serum type consistency, and it soaks in super fast and my hands feel amazing.

It’s not harsh enough to remove the cuticle, but I believe it helps soften it up enough to prep for removal.

This has a really pleasant scent – a light citrus and peach like scent, a bit on the sweet side.

Inspiration: Inspired by Attina from The Little Mermaid. Her beautiful orange color inspired our blood orange scent.

Description: Black Dahlia Lacquer’s Hair & Beard Oil softens and smooths hair for better control and to help keep hair healthy and hydrated. This month they’re featuring a blood orange scent created with only essential oils.

The scent is light and not overpowering at all, but it is a nice pick-me-up morning scent for hair (you know, since I had laser hair removal to avoid the beard) but Nick actually took this from me for his beard. He likes straight forward scents like this.

This also works as a cuticle oil.

Acetone Antidote by Baroness X | Candy Kingdom

Inspiration: Inspired by Adventure Time’s Candy Kingdom. Specifically Princess Bubblegum, the Cotton Candy trees and Pineapple Guy who was in the very first episode, Slumber Party Panic.

Description: This month’s Acetone Antidote scent is Candy Kingdom, a mix of pineapple, bubble gum and cotton candy.

I can pick up on the pineapple and cotton candy and ugh… it’s making my mouth water.

Acetone Antidote is an additive for your acetone to protect your skin from the harshness of acetone. It contains glycerin and jojoba oil to help protect and moisturize your nails, skin, and cuticles during polish removal. Plus, no more ashy, dry skin.

Shake the vial and add the full bottle (.5oz) to 6-8oz of acetone. You can add the vial to more or less (down to 4oz of acetone, no less due to IFRA regulations). These are just suggestions for optimal scent and protection from acetone, the ratio can vary due to personal preference.

I use a full vial in 10 oz of Zoya Remove+

Description: Laundry Day Is A Very Dangerous Day is a shimmery blue base with magenta and pink flakes mixed in. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

In person, the blue base leans a little more turquoise tinged.

The maker did notify me that she would be adding a little more flake to the mix for customers as well. Not a ton, but just a little more to amp it up a bit.

Inspiration: Inspired by the Care Bears (in collaboration with other PPU makers) we picked a newer rendition of True Heart bear, featuring her soft pastel coloring.

Description: True Heart is a semi sheer, milky white crelly with gold to green to pink shifting aurora shimmer, gold flakes, a rainbow of shifting iridescent flakes, and small glitter in pale pink and blue. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Some VNL is still showing for me, and I don’t have an opaque nail line, so you may want a base like Mermaid Tears to help hide it with this polish.

Loopy Fruits Acetone Additive | Alter Ego Body Care Products

Inspiration: Inspired by “I was not allowed to do this but I hear others reminisce about sitting in front of the TV, watching cartoons while eating their cereal.”

Description: This acetone additive smells just like Fruity Pebbles. One of my favorite cereals when I want a good ol’ childhood favorite.

To use acetone additive, pour the bottle of additive into your acetone! I used the full bottle in about 10 oz of Zoya Remove+ and ugh.. this smells amazing.

This polish is sheer. It needs to be built up – but you may want to use a base color if you have strong VNL.

Polish Pickup October 2020 | Animation

So many goodies for this month, and I feel like greens and blues dominated the color selection. I’m used to blue being up there, but green made a lot of appearances this month in comparison to previous ones.

There were several thermals and glow in the darks this month – and those effect ones are fun to see. I think a lot of makers hit their inspo perfect and some I could have guessed correctly on when I saw them.
