River Bride Collection & Midnight Duo

I’m still getting past the flu that hit me earlier this week. Overall I feel okay, but I have a mild fever and achy joints. Just enough to make me feel like crap, but not horrible enough to completely hold me back. I took Wednesday and Thursday off work when my fever was at it’s high, and on Thursday my son had a migraine hit as well. Luckily he was able to sleep it off for the most part, since I couldn’t cuddle him (didn’t want him to get the flu too.)

Well that’s how my week went. But now I have the Pahlish River Bride Collection & Midnight Duo to share with you all!

All 7 of these shades drop tomorrow on the Pahlish site.

The River Bride Collection was inspired by The Decemberists song “Rusalka, Rusalka/Wild Rushes” and the Midnight Duo are 2 stunning blue shades that didn’t quite make it into the Wizarding World Part 2 releases.

We’re going to start with the Midnight Duo, and then move into The River Bride collection. Here we go!

Pahlish | Thestral

Thestral is a bright ocean blue loaded with holographic micro flecks. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Pahlish | Luna

Luna is a midnight blue creme base loaded with teal to purple shifting shimmer. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Pahlish | Rusalka, Rusalka

Rusalka, Rusalka is a dusty navy blue creme with crushed gold flakes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Pahlish | Wild Rushes

Wild Rushes is a dusty, cool toned olive creme with crushed gold flakes. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Pahlish | Tressed In Flowers

Tressed In Flowers is a warm rose pink creme base with crushed gold flakes. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Pahlish | Alien Bloom

Alien Bloom is a pale ivory creme with crushed gold flakes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Pahlish | Liminal Moon

Liminal Moon is a soft dusty lavender creme with crushed gold flakes. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Pahlish | River Bride Collection & Midnight Duo

While I love the gold flakes, both shades in the Midnight Duo are my top picks from this release. My top 2 picks from the River Bride collection are Alien Bloom and Liminal Moon.

All 7 shades applied beautifully, however – the River Bride Collection creme bases borderline on crelly like formulas, so the aren’t as opaque as typical cremes. I used 2 normal coats though and reached full opacity. If you use thinner coats, you may need 3 coats for full opacity.
