How is Saturday already over? I shouldn’t complain, I have a 4 day weekend… but still! It went by super fast. We were doing busy work around the house all day, otherwise this post would have gone up hours ago. We rented one of those ginormous dumpsters to haul away a ton of stuff cluttering up our house and it feels so nice. We’ve accumulated a lot of things that we simply outgrew (I’m looking at Jacob right now) or just didn’t want anymore. We have boxes with Jacob’s books from when he was younger that we’re donating to the local bookstore and the clothing he didn’t destroy is going to be donated as well.

Now that Nick is relaxing and Jacob is passed out from all the hard work, I have time to share the Pahlish Afternoon Tea Collection & August Releases!

This month things are split up into 2 groups. One is the Afternoon Tea Collection that consists of 4 cremes with shimmer and ultrachrome flakes, and the remaining 6 are being released with no official collection name. Just new colors Pahlish decided needed to be in their shop!

This release is happening tomorrow night at 7pm CST… so be ready!

We’re going to take a look at the Afternoon Tea Collection first, then move into the rest of the August 2017 releases.

Chamomile

Chamomile is easily my favorite among the Afternoon Tea Collection! This is a pale greyish blue creme with a very subtle red shimmer and red to gold to copper to green ultrachrome flakes. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Jasmine

Jasmine is a pale yellow toned green creme base with a delicate teal shimmer and teal to blue to purple ultrachrome flakes. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Earl Grey

Earl Grey is a softer greyed out beige creme (or greige if you prefer to say that) with red shimmer and copper to violet to greenish ultrachrome flakes. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Moroccan Rosebud

Moroccan Rosebud is a light dusty rose pink creme base with pink shimmer and purple to bronze to red ultrachrome flakes. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Now onto the rest of the August releases!

Thistle

Thistle is one of my top picks as well. Thistle is a medium grey creme with multichrome red to bronze to golden shimmer. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Borealis

Borealis is another top pick for me. This is a deep plum crelly like base with teal to purple duochrome shimmer. Absolutely stunning. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Gilded Olive

Gilded Olive is a burnished olive gold foil. It almost takes on a deep mustard yellow foil appearance. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Both foils in this set (the other foil will be shown next) had foil pigment sinkage for the bloggers, but Pahlish was aware right off and already adjusted their formula with a heavier glitter base so anyone purchasing won’t have this issue.

Chocolate Diamond

Chocolate Diamond is a reddish copper foil. A lot of the foil in mine sunk, so it will have more foil flecks mixed in when you purchase it. Both Gilded Olive and Chocolate Diamond had the sinking foil flecks (but like I said above, Pahlish already reformulated it, so purchasers won’t have this issue) I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Daughters Of Triton

Ah, we are the daughters of Triton
Great father who loves us and named us well
Aquata, Andrina, Arista, Atina, Adella, Allana
And then there is the youngest in her musical debut…

Anyone else singing that in their head? No? Just me? Hmm okay anyways…

Daughters of Triton is a teal jelly based linear holographic with purple shimmer and purple to blue to teal ultrachrome flakes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Ursula

Ursula is a red leaning violet jelly based linear holographic with purple shimmer and purple to violet to blue ultrachrome flakes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Pahlish Afternoon Tea Collection & August Releases Overview

Another great release from Pahlish! I had no application issues with any of these 10 shades, and the only 2 that had an issue were the foils (sinking foil) but as I mentioned in both descriptions – that issue has been fixed by Pahlish and customers won’t experience that.
