OPI is setting up to release their Fall collection which is the San Francisco Collection. I was very excited about this because I have lived just a little outside San Francisco my whole life! This collection is full of some fabulous polishes and I adore the names!
I’m not going to talk too much because, let’s be honest, you’re here for the swatches!
I’m kicking this post off with the Liquid Sands of the collection. So let’s get to it!
Alcatraz…Rocks:
Best. Liquid. Sand. Ever. Alcatraz…Rocks is a deep greyish purple jelly base with purple and gold glitter mixed in. Lots of sparkle and this is really amazing in person! I used 2 coats for this photo.
Closeup:
Wharf! Wharf! Wharf!:
Wharf! Wharf! Wharf! is a navy blue texture polish. Very rich in color! There is no sparkle to this Liquid Sand polish, but it’s still a beauty!

It’s All San Andreas’s Fault:
The 3rd and final Liquid Sand in the collection! This one is an earthy taupe shade. Again, no sparkle, but still pretty. I don’t have a ton of browns, so I will be wearing this one a bit more come September/October! I used 2 coats for this photo.
Closeup:
A-Piers To Be Tan:
A-Piers To Be Tan is a warm medium caramel creme. Easily applied in just 2 coats.
Closeup:
I Knead Sour-Dough:
I Knead Sour-Dough is an unexpected favorite of the group. It is a warm brown with a reddish shimmer throughout which makes it a very pretty shade for Fall. I used 2 coats for this photo.
Closeup:
Muir Muir On The Wall:
Muir Muir On The Wall was one I KNEW I would love! This is a deep plum with shimmer and the slightest hint of a duochrome. Beautiful and I will need a backup of this. Photo shows 2 coats.
Closeup:
Peace & Love & OPI:
Peace & Love & OPI is a beautiful green to purple to silver multichrome. Another one I knew I would love. I used 2 coats for this photo. Minor brush strokes visible for this one.
Bonus Photo for more shift:
Closeup:
First Date of the Golden Gate:
First Date at the Golden Gate is a muted ruby red. I needed 3 coats for this one. It applied a little sheer, almost like a crelly polish would.
Closeup:
Lost on Lombard:
Lost on Lombard is a beautiful garnet shade. I used 2 coats for this photo.
Closeup:
In The Cable Car-Pool Lane:
In The Cable Car-Pool Lane is a burgundy creme. 2 coats was all the was needed for this photo.
Closeup:
Embarca-Dare Ya!:
Embarca-Dare Ya! is a shimmery magenta. Another beauty! I used 2 coats for this photo.
Closeup:
Dining Al Frisco:
Dining Al Frisco is another shade I love. Dining Al Frisco is a beautiful light blue with silver and aqua shimmer. I used 2 coats for this photo.
Closeup:
Incognito In Sausalito:
I LOVE this creme! Incognito in Sausalito is a deep blue creme. Photo shows 2 coats.
Closeup:
Keeping Suzi At Bay:
Keeping Suzi At Bay is a medium navy blue creme. 2 coats were used for this photo.
Closeup:
Haven’t The Foggiest:
Last but not least is Haven’t the Foggiest. This is a silver foil finish shade. 2 coats were needed for this photo.
Closeup:
Overall I am pleased with this collection. Some colors looks similar to others in my collection, but they are still lovely. I absolutely love the names of each polish! Application was pretty good on all 15 polishes. First Date at the Golden Gate had the thinnest formula and required 3 coats, but all of the rest only needed 2 coats.
My top picks for the OPI San Francisco Collection: Alcatraz… Rocks, I Knead Sour-Dough, Peace & Love & OPI, Muir Muir On The Wall and Incognito in Sausalito.

Wow! You have been busy busy! Great swatches!
These are the first swatches I’ve seen on a blog I follow regularly, and I’m loving them! I’m not a huge fan of red polishes and I never seem to wear textured shades aside from swatching, so I was concerned I wouldn’t love this collection, but it looks gorgeous!!
