Good morning and happy Saturday! This morning we’re going to be looking at the OPI Peru Collection | Fall 2018!
This is a full creme collection. No glitters, no frills – just cremes.
12 of these shades are the normal OPI Peru Collection and 3 are Ulta Exclusives that I picked up when I saw them on the Ulta website. We’ll look at the initial 12 shades first, and at the end we’ll look at the Ulta Exclusives.
Let’s jump in and take a look!
OPI | Alpaca My Bags
OPI Alpaca My Bags is a dusty, slightly green tinged blue creme. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
OPI | Como Se Llama
OPI Como Se Llama is a red burgundy creme. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
OPI | Don’t Toot My Flute
OPI Don’t Toot My Flute is a lilac creme. First coat made it seem like it was going to be patchy, but it surprisingly evened out on second coat. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
OPI | Grandma Kissed A Gaucho
OPI Grandma Kissed A Gaucho is one of my favorites from this collection. This is a slightly pink tinged, medium purplish orchid creme that is borderline crelly. It has a squishy look to it and applied beautifully in 2 coats.
OPI | I Love You Just Be-Cusco
OPI I Love You Just Be=Cusco is a cool toned red creme that almost borders on a brick red, but not quite. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
It’s a touch deeper in person than my photos show.
OPI | Lima Tell You About This Color!
OPI Lima Tell You About This Color is a slightly dusty cotton candy pink creme. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
OPI | Machu Peach-U
OPI Machu Peach-u is a peach tinged light beige creme. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
OPI | My Solar Clock Is Ticking
OPI My Solar Clock Is Ticking is a dusty reddish coral creme. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
OPI | Seven Wonders of OPI
OPI Seven Wonders of OPI is a dusty, pink tinged lavender. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
OPI | Somewhere Over The Rainbow Mountains
OPI Somewhere Over The Rainbow Mountains is a rosy pink tinged beige creme. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
This shade didn’t go well with my skin tone and I got “lobster hands” from it. Pretty color, just not for me.
OPI | Suzi Will Quechua Later
OPI Suzi Will Quechua Later is a rose tinted pinky mauve creme. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
OPI | Yes My Condor Can-Do!
OPI Yes My Condor Can-Do! is a deep, vampy maroon creme. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
OPI | I Archaeologically Dig You (Ulta Exclusive)
Here is the first of 3 Ulta Exclusives (I bought these ones)
OPI I Archaeologically Dig You is a medium dusty peach creme. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
OPI | Andean Culture Club (Ulta Exclusive)
OPI Andean Culture Club is an interesting grey creme. It has some beige tones and a little hint of army green. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
OPI | Ayahuasca Made Me Do It (Ulta Exclusive)
OPI Ayahyasca Made Me Do It is a dusty emerald green creme. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
OPI Peru Collection | Fall 2018
There are 3 more exclusive shades that I’ve seen online, but I am not sure where they are from or I would have purchased them as well. I picked up the 3 Ulta exclusives to have all the Peru shades, then found out there were 3 more (Spice of Peruvian Life, You Crossed The Nazea Line! and Take A Hike On The Inca Trail). When I quickly googled those, they were all for shops in Europe. Not sure if I was too tired to be Googling, but I didn’t see a US shop with them.
As far as the collection goes – I like it. I usually need 3 thin coats for cremes (and most polishes because I apply so thin) but I did 2 thin coats for all of these shades and they were fully opaque at that point. So huge points for great application on all 15 shades.
The 3 Ulta exclusives are among my top picks, but also Alpaca My Bags and Grandma Kissed A Gaucho
Price: $10.00 Each

It looks like those colors you had trouble with were at Sally Beauty Supply.
Lisa, the colours are just stunning! Adorable palette and great for any season. You mentioned that 2 thin coats were ok and how long did you stay chip-free after all? As re-making my manicure like every 3-5 days is very annoying for me, that’s why I stick to gel colours, exactly OPI branded ( usually order from here https://www.enails.eu/en/gel-nail-polish/opi-gelcolor.html ). So my feedback by OPI is always satisfied, I appreciate their variety of juicy colours and quality. Did you enjoy them?
Wow, you have the most beautiful nails! My nails are very short and I look like a kid using mommy’s nail polish when I use a darker color. LOL! I have to let them grow out a lot to look good. Anyways.. this Peru collection was really wonderful!
