Oh boy, another month is upon us and it’s gonna be a good one! Several months ago, Cheyenne of CDBNails said she would love to be the blogger of the month again, but only if she had someone to split it with. I semi-jokingly said “I’d do it again with you!” and well…. here we are. We split the month and changed things up a bit. You’ll see what I mean in a moment (if the page title didn’t give it away already)
Every month we start with the numerical makers or ‘A’ makers and move through to Z. This month we are starting backwards! So Z comes first, and I’ll move through my half to Li and then Cheyenne will continue on with Le-A! If there is a polish you want to skip to and you are on desktop, just hit CTRL + F and the search bar will pop up.
Each month both Cheyenne and I receive about 30-45 polishes, so this almost seemed like a normal month for us, we just had makers we don’t usually work with (all bloggers have their “regulars” we rotate through) so while the workload was about the same, we had some fun new brands to play with!
As of right now we each have 49 polishes to share. I know I still have Zombie Claw on the way, so I’ll pop her swatches and info in as soon as it arrives.
I know I mentioned it last month (and did a post on it!) but there are fewer items in Polish Pickup now. You’ll see a couple non polish items sprinkled in, but Indie Pickup is now a thing! You can find your favorite non polish indie items there, and they will be up later this month (3rd Friday of the month!)
Okay, let’s get into what you came here for. You know the drill…
Before I get into this, we’re going to talk about this new Facebook group and I’m going to describe it’s concept. The group is Polish Pickup. Polish Pickup offers a fun, interactive experience that allows you to submit theme ideas, vote for your favorite theme, and selectively purchase your favorite polishes every month. It’s NOT a box though. I think when it formed that was the major misconception of it.
Now, I love polish boxes, however, some purchasers shared their frustration in only wanting 1 or 2 polishes from a box and needing to unload the polishes in the box they didn’t want. So essentially they were paying $40 and up for 1 or 2 polishes and hoping they could sell the polishes they weren’t interested in.
Polish Pickup is different. While the concept of picking themes and voting isn’t new, instead of buying the whole box, you can shop online for JUST the single polishes you want. There can be many indie makers involved with the theme, but you only have to pay for the exact polishes you wanted rather than 4-8 polishes you may not have been interested in.
Then every month the theme and makers change and you get a whole new set of polishes to pick and choose from. So while it has a box like feel (with the voting and themes) it doesn’t carry the box commitment.
This set of polishes will be available from October 5th at 11am EST through October 8th at 11:59pm EST.
Let’s jump right in.

What a beautiful mix this month has! Fantastic work as always!
Thank you Kiz!
The amount of work you put in is amazing. I always go by your swatches when buying!
<3 Thank you Marcia! And with PPU - they polishes trickle in over the span of 2-3 weeks so it's easier to keep up with than a lot of people think. The post takes 4-6 hours though
Thank you, as always, Lisa! I appreciate all the work and time that goes into these PPU posts. It must be immense (though kind of fun, I’ll bet!). Your swatches help me to decide which polishes to buy and I really enjoy your big collages. I pin those to my Pinterest account and love studying them, even after the polishes are no longer available. :D
Phew that’s a lot to digest. I really like Zero Stones, Zero Crates. The question is would I wear it before it stopped transitioning?
