It’s that time again! Who’s ready for the October 2016 G.N.O.M.E. Box? I have it here and ready to share with all of you!
What is G.N.O.M.E.? It stands for Glitter Nerds Of Magical Existence! Rica and Stardust Polish are two brands that are constant in this three polish box, and each month there is a guest maker. October 2016’s guest maker is Jior Couture, which is actually a brand I’ve heard of, but this is my first time trying.
Let’s look at each polish, and purchasing information will be at the end of the post.
Rica – Gnomes & Goblins
Rica Gnomes &Goblins is a grey linear holographic with red whimmer and flash, as well as multichrome pink and gold flakes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Stardust Beauty – Gnomonstrosity
Stardust Beauty Gnomonstrosity is a deep oxblood scattered holographic with red metallic microglakes and red holo micro glitter scattered in. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for this vampy beauty.
Jior Couture – Gnome Tricks, Just Treats
Jior Couture is this months guest maker, and they brought Gnome Tricks, Just Treats to the table! This is a medium berry jelly based scattered holographic with multichrome flakes. This shade changes a bit depending on how many coats you use. I personally used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Also, just so it’s known, the bottle shown here is a 9ml mini bottle. When you order the box, you will receive a full 15 ml size.
October 2016 G.N.O.M.E. Box Overview
You have no idea how much Halloween type names make me smile. As usual, I love the play on Gnome type names as well to go with them – but I get really excited about Halloween in general. Do I dress up for it? No. But I love going costume shopping with my son and trick or treating with him, it’s just so much fun.
And yes, I’m still that mom who’s ovaries explode when I see the little babies in costumes.
Anyways, this was a nicely done box, and a first for me with Jior Couture. I had no application issues and all 3 polishes are really lovely.
