NOTD: Zoya Phoebe and Dovima

I just got Zoya’s Phoebe in a couple days ago as part of Zoya’s free promo.  I decided to use it today and wow, what a nice, vibrant blue!  Even has a very subtle hint of shimmer to it.   I used 2 coats in order for a completely opaque look.  When i put the first coat on it looked a little streaky and I was thinking “uh-oh” but once dry (which is the best thing about mattes ever – they dry super fast!) it was smoothed out a bit.  The second coat glided on and all was well!  I took a photo in the sunlight as well as the shade.

I loved the color, but wanted a little something more – so I decided to grab Dovima which is another of Zoya’s mattes I hadn’t used yet. I taped off parts of my nails and painted over with Dovima which is a nice matte black with a hint of silver shimmer. The shimmer in these mattes are so pretty and so subtle. Love it. Here are the taped off mani results.

The sun was going down by this point, so no pretty sunny pictures after I added Dovima :(
