Happy Saturday! We’ve been busy busy over here… and next up this week I have the Night Owl Lacquer Winter Duo, as well as the January and February COTM (Creme Of The Month) to share!
Okay so a small launch this month… we have a Winter Duo and then the January and February COTM.
These all release tomorrow (1/28) at 6pm PST
Ready to jump in and take a closer look?
Night Owl Lacquer Tea & Warm Socks
My favorite of the release… Tea & Warm Socks! This is a teal to blue to purple to magenta shifting mulrichrome loaded with pink to gold to green shimmer flecks. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Night Owl Lacquer | Wishing For Snow
Wishing For Snow is a vibrant pink jelly base packed with large particle fuchsia to pink to gold shifting shimmer. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Night Owl Lacquer | Begin Again
Begin Again is described as a ‘whited out teal creme’ but on me it looks like a sky blue creme. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
I found this to be a bit thick and it didn’t want to self level right away – however, top coat seemed to sort the leveling out better. I most likely will add a few drops of thinner to this though to manage it easier when I use it in the future. I don’t thin formulas until my photos and review is complete – so Begin Again is shown untouched/unaltered for this review.
Night Owl Lacquer | Promise
Promise is a dark mauve leaving purple creme. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
To me, this looks almost like plum and eggplant had a baby
Night Owl Lacquer | Winter Duo, January & February COTM
If you can only buy 1 or 2 from this release – I would recommend Tea & Warm Socks, as well as Promise. Application on 3 of the 4 shades was nice – but as I mentioned, Begin Again was a little thick for my tastes.
