Happy Saturday! Tomorrow Night Owl Lacquer has a fun release… so today we’re looking at the Night Owl Lacquer September 2024 Release!
So the September 2024 release includes the yearly Potion Ingredients set, this year is Volume 4. Plus we will have 3 Creme of the Month shades (July, August and September) and finally the 8 year anniversary Limited Edition polish!
For my lighting set up I use artificial lighting due to my day job, my set up involves 2 Neatfi XL Lamps from Amazon (affiliate link) as well as this Daylight Company Duo Daylight Lamp (affiliate link).
For the fine details – for all photos shown – I used Vapid Lacquer Commitment Issues Peel Off Base (which dries clear), and for top coat I used Monarch Lacquer Hi-Def Shine Top coat (sent as PR and I’ve also purchased). I didn’t feel that a glitter smoother was necessary because these didn’t dry with much texture.

Night Owl Lacquer | Dust of the Moon
Kicking this off with my top pick! Dust of the Moon is a clear base loaded with holo dust and aqua to blue to indigo shimmer. I used 3 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Night Owl Lacquer | Nucleus Of Evil
Nucleus Of Evil is an orange jelly base with orange to green to gold iridescent micro glitters and orange to copper to gold multichrome flakes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Pollen of a Corpse Flower is a clear base loaded with orange to gold to green shifting micro flake shimmer, holo dust and charcoal metallic micro flakes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Leaves of a Nightshade is a deep black jelly base multichrome that shifts from bronze to green to deep green. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Tendrils of a Bat Flower is a deep black based multichrome that shifts blackened indigo to red to burgundy. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Wail of a Wraith is a blackened blue jelly base with blue to green to gold iridescent micro glitters, as well as aqua to blue to violet multichrome flakes. I used 3 thin coats, glitter smoother and glossy top coat for these photos.

PNW Coast is a teal blue creme. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Serotinal is a wine red creme. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Mustard Seed is a brown toned mustard creme. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Night Owl Lacquer | Moonstruck
Moonstruck is the 8 Year Anniversary Limited Edition shade! This color will be stocked through November 13th and after that it will only be available while supplies last.
Moonstruck is a violet tinted linear holographic base filled with burgundy/green shifting micro flakies and glowy shimmer that shifts green/blue/fuschia. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Night Owl Lacquer | September 2024 Release
The cremes were fantastic, but my stand out favs from this have to be Moon Dust, Moonstruck, Tendrils of a Bat Flower and Pollen of a Corpse Flower.
