Metallic Rainbow Collection & September Creme of the Month
This post is about a few days behind, but it’s still a fairly new release for Night Owl Lacquer! I have the Night Owl Lacquer Metallic Rainbow Collection & September Creme of the Month to share with everyone today!
Night Owl Lacquer released all 8 of these shades on August 28th, so you can go grab them at any point now. 7 of these shades make up the Metallic Rainbow Collection, and the creme is the September Creme of the Month.
I do use artificial lighting so the holo isn’t super flared (my lighting just doesn’t do that) but you can still see the holo sparkle in some shots. They are much stronger in person and quite well done.

Night Owl Lacquer | Red Metallic Holo
Red Metallic Holo is a warm, medium red tinted base with bright red metallic micro flakes and holo micro flakes mixed in. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Night Owl Lacquer | Orange Metallic Holo
Orange Metallic Holo is an orange tinted base with bright yellow metallic micro flakes and holo micro flakes. The orange base and yellow micro flakes gives it more of an orange tinged golden appearance. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Night Owl Lacquer | Yellow Metallic Holo
Yellow Metallic Holo is a yellow tinted base with yellow metallic micro flakes and holo micro flakes mixed in. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Against my skin tone, this actually appears more chartreusey yellow.
Night Owl Lacquer | Green Metallic Holo
Green Metallic Holo is a green tinted base with bright green metallic micro flakes and holo micro flakes mixed in. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Night Owl Lacquer | Blue Metallic Holo
Blue Metallic Holo is a blue tinted base filled with bright blue metallic micro flakes and holo micro flakes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Night Owl Lacquer | Indigo Metallic Holo
Indigo Metallic Holo is an indigo tinted base filled with bright blue and purple metallic microflakes and holo microflakes. I sued 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Night Owl Lacquer | Violet Metallic Holo
Violet Metallic Holo is a violet tinted base with bright purple metallic micro flakes and holo micro flakes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Night Owl Lacquer | Brewing Up A Storm
The September Creme Of The Month is Brewing Up A Storm! This is deep, dusty navy blue creme. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
While this is a creme, on first application it was toeing the line of being a crelly. But it was still opaque enough to be considered a creme.
Final photo shows it matte!
Night Owl Lacquer | Metallic Rainbow Collection & September Creme of the Month
So the Metallic Rainbow Collection is simplistic but beautifully done. The tinted bases with metallic and holo bits make them a tad different than the typically creme/crelly linear holos I’m sort of used to seeing with a rainbow set – so this is well done.
