A new indie duo dropped this morning, and I have it to share with you today! Necessary Evil Polish & Static Lacquer created the California Lovin’ Indies Duo!

The theme for this box is Horsetail Falls! Around the first week of February, when the sun rises it looks like Horsetail Falls is on fire. I linked an account with some stunning images of it.

Static Lacquer | Only In Winter

Only In Winter is a lavender tinged greige base with copper shimmer, scattered holographic flakes, as well as gold to bronze to red ultrachrome chameleon flakes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Necessary Evil Polish | Blue Skies Over Horsetails

Blue Skies Over Horsetails is a medium royal blue crelly base with red to green aurora pigment, scattered holo and opal flakes that primarily show flashes of green, blue, pink and orange. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

This is a beautifully done duo, and I love the choices of flakes with the base colors chosen especially. As a California girl – I enjoyed the inspiration. I had heard of this Horsetail Falls phenomenon, but never saw it in person. I work in accounting, so traveling in February is more difficult, but I do want to see it in person one day.

Each box also comes with a holographic Helmer decal.
