Summer is coming to a close and school will be back in session soon, and it’s the perfect time to reinvent your routine. Who doesn’t want a new routine that makes them feel good and that won’t break the bank? I always love doing looks that give me a fresh face and natural look, and it helps when it’s quick and easy so I can get out the door.
Walmart has the 100% natural and moisture rich products you’re looking for at an everyday low price. Let this quick natural beauty look help you put your best foot forward in the new school year to make your best first impression. This look is super affordable. Every single item used is available at Walmart, including my favorite 100% natural products from Burt’s Bees and EcoTools!
Lets take a look at the products and tools I used to create my look!
Step 1: Cleanse
To start I use the EcoTools Pure Complexion Facial Sponge to cleanse and exfoliate my skin. This helps for a smooth “canvas” to work on.
Step 2 : Covergirl Ready Get Gorgeous Foundation & EcoTools Flat Foundation Brush
Covergirl Ready Set Gorgeous is perfect to even out your skin tone. We want to achieve a luminous complexion without overdoing it since we are going for natural. EcoTools Flat Foundation Brush works well to apply and distribute the foundation.
Step 3: Covergirl Ready Set Gorgeous Powder & EcoTools Sheer Finish Kabuki
I have oily skin so even with a light foundation, I still need to set it with a light dusting of powder! I grab my Covergirl Ready Set Gorgeous face powder and EcoTools Sheer Finish Kabuki Brush to apply.
Step 4: Milani Rose Powder Blush & Ecotools Tapered Blush Brush
I want to add a flush of color to my cheeks, so I grabbed my Milani Rose Blush in American Beauty Rose and the Ecotools Tapered Blush Brush is the best tool to apply it! It allows me to easily sweep a touch of color to my cheeks for a nice, natural glow.
Step 5: L’Oreal True Match Lumi & EcoTools Deluxe Fan Brush
I have fair skin and found that L’Oreal True Match Lumi Powder Glow Illuminator works nicely with my skin tone. For application I grab my EcoTools Deluxe Fan Brush to apply quick, light swipes on the apples of my cheeks, center of my nose, cupids box and on the brow bones. The EcoTools Deluxe Fan Brush is angled perfectly for easy application in the targeted areas.
Step 6: Maybelline The Nudes Palette & EcoTools Day To Night Clutch Set
For the eyes I’m going simple, and Maybelline The Nudes palette offers plenty of lighter shades that work for a natural look. I grabbed the 2 eye shadow brushes from the EcoTools Day To Night Clutch Set (Stay There Shadow and Smudge). I used Stay There Shadow brush to apply the top left shade all over the lid and in the crease, then used the Smudge brush to apply the nice bronze shade in the bottom row, 3rd from the right, in the crease.
Step 7: Burt’s Bees Sedona Sands Lip Crayon
From Top to Bottom: Sedona Sands, Niagra Overlook, Napa Vineyard & Redwood Forest
Burt’s Bees Lip Crayons offer creamy, full-coverage shades of matte lip color in a modern crayon for truly beautiful lip color. These can be worn either alone or layered under a lip gloss or lip shine. You don’t have to sharpen them and they have no added flavor or fragrance. The moisturizing formula featuring shea butter, kendi oil, and jojona oil keeps your lips looking and feeling great all day long.
I had 4 lovely Burt’s Bees Lip Crayons in my arsenal, but for a natural look I went with the lightest of the 4, Sedona Sands. This is the perfect nude lip color for a natural look.
Step 8: Milani Stay Put Brow Color & Covergirl Flamed Out Mascara
To add some finishing touches I fill in my brows with Milani Stay Put Brow Color in 04 Brunette (not too heavy though! We’re going for natural) and use Covergirl Flamed Out Mascara to make my eyes stand out a bit.
Final Natural Look
The finished makeup look is subtle and naturally radiant.. The natural beauty look is perfect for long days at school or the office, and it’s great because people will notice your natural beauty instead of your makeup!
It’s difficult to achieve a natural look without the right brushes. If you are looking for new makeup brushes that are affordable and effective, try the EcoTools line at your local Walmart. Not only are they affordable, they are made of eco-conscious materials and are cruelty-free brushes. I’ve been impressed with these hand-crafted brushes, and they have been and will be getting a lot of love being in my collection!
