I have some gorgeous shimmers to share with you today! This is the Native War Paints Copper Penny Collection.
Native War Paints Copper Penny Collection consists of 6 creamy bases with the same copper shimmer in each one.
While I have tried Native War Paints in the past through Road To Polish Con and a couple different collab boxes, this is actually the first full collection I’ve experienced.
Let’s take a look at Native War Paints Copper Penny Collection!
Penny, Penny, Penny
Penny, Penny, Penny is a vibrant fuchsia creme with copper shimmer. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Moneypenny
Moneypenny is a pale lavender creme with copper shimmer. I found Moneypenny to be a little on the thick side, but it was manageable. It also had the pastel application feel (fairly typical with this type of creme color though) and I still needed 3 coats for full coverage.
After doing this review of the polish as is, I did add a few drops of thinner on my own and while still needing 3 coats, the consistency was more to my preference.
My Favorite Copper Sweater
My Favorite Copper Sweater is a teal creme base with copper shimmer. Application was near perfection with this shade. I used 2 easy coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
This dries down to an almost matte finish naturally.
Copper Mugs and Moscow Mules
Copper Mugs and Moscow Mules is actually my top pick of the collection. This is an extremely pale grey creme with copper shimmer. In brighter lighting (and outdoor sun) it actually looks white. I found the formula to be a little on the thick side, but like Moneypenny – it was still manageable and despite it being thick, it’s still my favorite.
I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Penny For Your Thoughts
Penny For Your Thoughts is a deep purple creme with copper shimmer. Excellent application and I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Copperpot
Copperpot is a deep blackened blue creme with copper shimmer. I used 2 easy coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Native War Paints Copper Penny Collection Overview
Just a couple months ago, I had the chance to review Native War Paints Brokelyn for the Road To Polish Con series. Brokelyn had a gorgeous copper shimmer that I loved, so I was really happy to see Native War Paints expand a bit on that coppery goodness. Overall, I had barely any application issues with this collection and the 4 darker shades (Copperpot, Penny For Your Thoughts, My Favorite Copper Sweater & Penny, Penny, Penny) had great application. 2 coats, no fuss. The 2 lighter shades were a bit thicker in application and if you have thinner on hand, you might need to add a couple drops to bring it down to a consistency you prefer. As I mentioned above though, while thick – they are still manageable.
Price: $8.00 Each | $45.00 Full Collection

I love all this collection!
What a gorgeous collection, and Penny For Your Thoughts is absolute purple perfection!
Very appealing theme for this copper lover, so I especially love the shades with the copper glitter in the polish.
I love the copper shimmer in these. I don’t buy green polish but I’d love that green because of that copper. Gorgeous shades.
These are great spring shades!
There are some really unique shades in this collection, I really haven’t seen anything like Moneypenny or Copper Mugs!
That dark purple is my fave!
Oooh! What pretty shades of polish. I really like the copper shimmer that they have going on.
Oh my gosh – that darker purple and lavender shades are gorgeous. I don’t recall trying anything from this brand. I’m going to check them out now.
My Favorite Copper Sweater is gorgeous! I also like Penny for Your Thoughts.
