Press Sample of the Nailed It! Nail Polish
Cupcake Collection
Good morning, and Happy Monday! We are kicking off the new week with the Nailed It! Nail Polish Cupcake Collection!
The Nailed It! Nail Polish Cupcake Collection was created as a sort of celebration for Tiara’s birthday month! This is a 4 piece collection of perfect Spring like shades with a lot of flake action going on. 3 of the 4 shades are a beautiful crelly formula and the 4th is a crelly thermal.
Let’s jump in, I have these 4 to share, and at the bottom of the post will be a giveaway!
Nailed It! Nail Polish | Strawberry Shortcake
Strawberry Shortcake is a cool toned, slightly dusty rose pink crelly base with red to gold to green crystal flakes, as well as subtle red to gold shimmer and scattered holo. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
I had to color correct this to get it as close as possible. On camera – it really washed the pink out to almost a muted mauve color. That’s why my skin is a tad pinker than usual in this set of photos.
Nailed It! Nail Polish | Mint To Be
Mint To Be is a slightly dusty mint green crelly base with pink to gold crystal flakes, red to gold shimmer and scattered holo. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Nailed It! Nail Polish | Cupcakes At Tiffany’s
Cupcakes At Tiffany’s is a dusty, medium sky blue with pink to gold crystal flakes, holo micro flakes and scattered holo. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
The description calls it a Tiffany blue, but to me it wasn’t quite the description I would call it. Still a beautiful shade though.
Nailed It! Nail Polish | Orange Crush (Thermal)
Orange Crush is a warm, red toned orange (cold) to colorless (warm) crelly based thermal with red to gold aurora, pink to gold crystal flakes and holo microflakes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
In some lighting, the orange state looks almost coral like, but it is orange. I actually thought it might be a tri-thermal at one point because walking through the house while wearing it – I thought it went coral red to orange to colorless… but no, just the light playing color tricks with me.
The warm phase (colorless) is colorless. It becomes more pale beigey white the more coats you do, but overall it’s just void of all color and the flakes and other elements help build the look of opacity. However – you most likely would easily get away with using this as a topper over another color (yellow or pink?) to create a whole new look.
Nailed It! Nail Polish | Cupcake Collection
All 4 shades are primarily flakey crellies. The base polish has the perfect consistency to float all the flake elements so you don’t get a weird, bumpy texture. I only used 1 coat of top coat and got a nice smooth, glassy finish.
Release Date: March 15th at 5pm EST

I really like the look of all of them but if I were to get one I think I would go with the mint shade.

Beautiful collection! I’m not normally a big fan of thermals, but I love the idea of layering Orange Crush over another color. Thanks for the gorgeous swatches!
