MTL Creations The Montreal Thermal Collection Swatches & Review

I have a new to me indie on the blog tonight – MTL Creations! This is the Montreal Thermal Collection and is a 6 piece collection, but I am missing one shade, so I have 5 of the 6 to show you.

When I was taking these photos it was incredibly warm here and the thermals were going back to the warm state quicker than I could photograph in some cases – so a few have transitional photos and some only have warm or cold. They are really nice transition shades though and I love the warm/cool colors on all 5 shades.

For all photos I will show Cold first, then transition (if I have them) and then warm!

Cresent

Crescent Cold

Cresent is a beautiful purple tinged fuchsia when cold (above) to a medium fuchsia when warm (below) with a scattered holo mixed in. Of all the shades this has the most subtle shift. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Mt Royal

Mt Royal Cold

Mt Royal is one of my favorites! While cold it’s a medium cornflower blue, and when warm it’s a light grey and has a scattered holo dusted in. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Old Port

Old Port Cold

Old Port shifts from a dark ocean blue while warm to a medium blue while cold and is a shimmery creme. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

This is another favorite and I absolutely love how it looks in transition!

St. Laurent

St Laurent Cold

St Laurent shifts from a pretty peach when cold to a pearly white while warm and has a silver shimmer throughout. I used 3 thin coats for these photos and a glossy top coat.

I do love my thermals, but it’s rare that I love both the warm and cold colors in the entire set (I don’t have St Catherine – but look at those photos in the listing!). I had no application issues and my top picks are Mt. Royal, Old Port and St Laurent.
