Press Sample of the Ms. Sparkle
Be Proud, Live Loud! Collection
I have a special post for you up next, and it’s the Ms. Sparkle Be Proud, Live Loud! Collection.
This collection was created to show support to the LGTBQ+ community and half of all profits from sales will be donated to a LGTBQ+ charity. We have a lot of colors and finishes all in this beautiful 9 piece collection and I think it’s wonderful Ms. Sparkle is doing this.
My sister and several family members are part of the LGTBQ+ community, so I am all for this and completely support them. I was absolutely honored that Ms. Sparkle asked if I would like to review this collection and showcase it on my blog and of course, I was more than happy to.
Let’s jump into this collection.
Ms. Sparkle | Asexual
Asexual is a medium grey crelly base with violet shimmer and medium, small and micro hex glitters in white, silver and black, as well as black holo. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Ms. Sparkle | Bisexual
Bisexual is a cool toned purple crelly base loaded with strong pink shimmer, dark purple shred glitters, small silver shreds, holographic micro glitters and purple micro glitters. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
The glitters in this polish add a bit of texture to it, so I do recommend 2 coats of top coat. The more layers you do, the more prominent the texture will be.
Ms. Sparkle | Gay
Gay is a white crelly base with a rainbow assortment of glitters ranging from medium sized to micro, in hex and square shapes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Ms. Sparkle | Genderqueer
Genderqueer is a slightly dusty grass green crelly base with violet simmer and a sparsely scattered holographic. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Ms. Sparkle | Intersex
Intersex is a white crelly base with blue and pink dot glitters in small, medium and large. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Some of the larger dot glitters sink to the bottom, so I flipped my bottle upside down before using to let the mingle more. I didn’t get overwhelmed with dot glitters, but I was able to get a nice distribution of them without fishing around.
Ms. Sparkle | Lesbian
Lesbian is a medium red jelly base loaded with holographic micro flakes, ultrachrome chameleon flakes, iridescent flakes, shred and micro glitters. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
There’s a very light texture to this shade, so depending on your top coat, you might need 2 coats for a smooth finish.
Ms. Sparkle | Pansexual
Pansexual is a slightly teal tinged blue jelly base with ultra chrome chameleon flakes, holo micro shreds, holo flakes, iridescent flakes, green, holo and pink hex glitters and holo microglitters. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Ms. Sparkle | Straight Ally
Straight Ally is a black jelly base with silver micro glitters, a rainbow assortment of small and micro glitter, as well as some small holo glitters mixed in. You can also find some white heart glitters. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
The white heart glitters do need to be fished out a little since they aren’t as abundant as the other glitter types.
Ms. Sparkle | Transgender
Transgender is a fuchsia pink with blue shimmer and scattered holographic effect. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
The final 2 photos in this set show 1 coat of Transgender over a black creme.
Ms. Sparkle | Be Proud, Live Loud! Collection
This is a beautifully done collection, and I’m so happy to be able to share it on my blog. As I mentioned, half of all profits will be donated to a LGTBQ+ charity. I do not currently have the name of the charity – but once I do, I will update it here and I will be making a contribution myself since the polishes were sent for review.
