I’m back! And I’m here to share another little release that Monarch Lacquer will be doing on June 8th… and it’s the Milk Bath Trio!
The Milk Bath Trio is actually more of a series. While these are the initial 3 to launch, this will be an ongoing release and will be added to as time goes on. To see these swatched – check them out on YouTube:

So… where does ‘Milk Bath’ come from? Milk Bath nails refer to a nail art trend where a milky white polish is applied to the nails, which gives a subtle, delicate look. Usually a sheer white or off white polish is used (giving the look of milk) and it’s a really simplistic and elegant nail look. While some of the Milk Bath shades will be white or off white – there will be some softer shades (like pink) that will be used as well.
Again, this series will be built on throughout the year, this is just the initial 3 shades.
All photos shown are done using Vapid Lacquer Commitment Issues peel off base, as well as Monarch Lacquer’s Quick Flutter Top Coat, which is a high gloss quick dry top coat.

Monarch Lacquer | Rose Petal Bath
Rose Petal Bath is a soft, baby pink crelly base with delicate blue to violet shimmer. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Monarch Lacquer | Tranquil Mist
Tranquil Mist is my favorite of the 3 shades! This is a pale off white crelly base with green to blue shifting shimmer. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Monarch Lacquer | Luminous Blanc
Luminous Blanc is the most “glowy” of the 3 Milk Bath shades. This is a white crelly base with red to orange to gold shifting shimmer. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Monarch Lacquer | Milk Bath Trio
I am really hoping to see a pale grey with strong red to pink shimmer, as well as a taupey grey with strong blue to violet shimmer. I hope those are in the lineup.
Application was beautiful on all 3 shades, they self leveled perfectly and weren’t streaky. They aren’t meant to be fully opaque – however a 3rd coat would have done so if I had a strong VNL I was trying to hide.
