***Added 7/23/15 – please read this announcement ***
If you have purchased from Mentality from April 2015 – June 2015 and you are experiencing sensitivity, itchiness or burning, please contact Mentality directly to have your polishes replaced. Their email is [email protected]
I personally did NOT experience any reactions when using these polishes, but many did. Please know I would have been fully transparent had I known the damage that was being caused. Again, please read the announcement above and by clicking on it, you will be taken to Mentality’s initial statement regarding the issue.
Ready for some more Mentality? I have another great collection for you today! The Textured Earth Tones Collection is a 12 piece collection that may not really be for everyone. This is a lightly textured matte collection, and I know textures are hit or miss for a lot of people. These aren’t gritty at all though and just have a hint of texture.
Take a look.

Overview
As I said, these may not be for everyone. They are extremely lightly textured matte shades in earthy tones that I personally like, but I like texture. These can also be used in nail art (would make great landscape style art) as well as stamping (like most of Mentality’s shades). A few of the shades like Asphalt and Spackle started drying quicker on me so I had to work fast, but for the most part they applied like most mattes. If you kind of like textures but can’t stand the gritty feeling, these might be more up your alley!
And in case you didn’t know yet… Mentality Nail Polish is now using a 5 Free base for their polishes!
Price: $6.75 or the full 12 piece set for $75.00

Yassssss!
Pretty finish! I think they almost look like brushed metal.
A lot of the nude tones would work so well with my bridal makeup clients.
Asphalt and Pozzolana are super sexy!!
I like all, most esp Asphalt, Kaolin and Gesso
These are pretty and unique!
Great swatches! Not my favorite color palette but I can see their appeal for neutral lovers.
These look interesting, very muted. Your swatches, as always, are fabulous, lady! :)
I actually like these :)
These colors are so unusual! I would probably use them for nail art. Pretty though not something I would normally choose for myself!
These are beautiful!! Great swatches!
I think I need all of these. so unique
