***Added 7/23/15 – please read this announcement ***
If you have purchased from Mentality from April 2015 – June 2015 and you are experiencing sensitivity, itchiness or burning, please contact Mentality directly to have your polishes replaced. Their email is [email protected]
I personally did NOT experience any reactions when using these polishes, but many did. Please know I would have been fully transparent had I known the damage that was being caused. Again, please read the announcement above and by clicking on it, you will be taken to Mentality’s initial statement regarding the issue.
We are kicking off MENTALITY WEEK! I have so many lovelies to show you from Mentality it’s unbelievable! From Glitters to Shimmers to Holos! I will be going over them all this week. I have some new polishes by Mentality to show you, but I will also be dipping into my stash to show you some of my past favorites as well!
Tonight I will be showing you Part 1 of the Mentality The Good, The Bad and The Microglitter Collection! Part 1 will be of 5 different matte microglitters Mentality offers.
Antisocial:
Antisocial is a mix of white and black matte microglitters in a clear base. White is the dominant glitter color for this one. I only used 1 thin coat for Antisocial, but had I done a thicker coat, it would only have taken 2 coats for full coverage. Pictured is Antisocial over Ruby Wing Poppy.

Malevolent:
Malevolent consists of black and white matte microglitters in a clear base. Unlike Antisocial though, black is the dominant glitter. I used 1 coat of Malevolent over Ruby Wing Birdie.

Splenetic:
Splenetic is a mix of white, black and blue matte microglitters in a clear base. I used 1 coat over Cult Nails Charming.

Cantankerous:
Cantankerous is a fun word to type out. Cantankerous contains neon yellow, dark yellow, red, white, and black matte microglitters in a clear base. I used 1 coat over Ruby Wing Eternal.

Caustic:
Caustic is my favorite of the 5! This one has blue, purple, white, and black microglitter in a clear base. I used 1 coat over Sinful Colors Endless Blue!
Closeup:
As I said in the first description, all of these are capable of being full coverage glitters in 2-3 coats if you want them to be, or you can do what I did and only do 1 glitter filled coat! Application was really smooth for all of these and since they are microglitters, they don’t feel gritty or overly bumpy!
