Mentality Nail Polish – The Brilliant Collection – Swatches and Review

Good evening ladies!  I decided to kick off November with a gorgeous holographic collection!  Mentality Nail Polish released The Brilliant Collection about a week ago and these are beautiful holo glitter polishes!  You might remember Mentality Nail Polish from a review I just did of their first collection called The Metallics (here is the LINK for that review!)

Mentality Nail Polish  is a husband and wife team that work out of their home to bring you affordable nail polish.  This collection is priced a little higher than their last collection, but the ingredients needed were slightly higher priced.  Trust me though, if you love holo’s, this set is well worth it!

The Brilliant Collection consists of 4 linear holographic polishes that can be worn alone or layered over other polishes.  Each polish is made with fine micro glitter which gives each polish a very slightly textured, satin finish.  I needed 3 coats for each swatch (I am saying this now so I’m not too repetitive) and finished each one off with a glossy top coat.   I did not layer any colors underneath these polishes, so everything you see is 100% the creations by Mentality Nail Polish.

Euphoria:

Euphoria is a light gold holographic polish.  When I say light gold, I mean that.  Most golds I have are blazing – in your face type golds.  Not this one.  Very light and elegant.

Elation:

Elation is a vibrant light blue. In the bottle it comes off as just a pale blue, but once you swipe it on the nail, the vibrancy comes out!  Gorgeous!

Rapture:

Rapture is one of my favorites of this collection!  Rapture is a coppery red and silver speckled holographic polish.  Rapture looks so amazing in the sunlight!

Fervor:

Fervor is my second favorite of the collection.  Fervor is a light purple holo glitter!  I can’t get enough of purple holographic polishes!  Out of the purple holographic polishes I have owned, this is probably the most delicate looking one I have, and I really like it that way!

If you love holographic polishes, this is a perfect set to own!  Great quality, quick dry time and gorgeous colors!  Mentality Nail Polish also makes a holographic top coat that is available in their Big Cartel shop – and it’s only $6.00 for a 15 ml bottle!
