Before we start, there are 2 things I want to mention. First – some of these aren’t 100% color accurate in my post because they are so bright my camera flipped out, so I did the best I could. Second – I had every intention on stamping with all of these, but it’s been hot as heck out here so I needed a fan going. Anyone who stamps knows that a fan speeds up drying on polish and my polish on the plates was drying too fast. Hopefully when things cool down I can do a full stamping post with these!
I did get ONE stamping manicure done before the fan had to be flipped on, so I did get one good one before the heat screwed it all up.
Neon Magenta Opaque

Neon Magenta Opaque is a vibrant deep pink neon creme. I used 2 coats for these photos and a glossy top coat.
I stamped with Neon Magenta Opaque before the fan came on, so this one turned out really well (for my stamping skill!) The white base used is Mentality Sunny and the black used is Mentality Scoundrel.
Neon Red Opaque

Neon Red Opaque is actually more of an eye searing, heavily orange leaning coral for me. There is a touch more red than my camera picked up. My camera wouldn’t even focus on my nails when I attempted this photo. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Neon Pink Opaque is a medium neon pink creme. In my photo it was leaning more coral, but it’s actually a true neon pink shade. I used 2 coats and a top coat for these photos.

Neon Bright Red Opaque is the more neon red leaning coral of the group. In photos it came out looking VERY similar to neon pink, but they are actually very different in person.

This is my third set of neons from Mentality Nail Polish and probably the brightest of the 3 sets. My camera just wasn’t having it on some of these swatches!
As far as stamping goes, I know these CAN stamp – the heat here just won’t let me do too much with a fan going – so I’ll have to reattempt when it cools off just a little.
Like most true neons, these dry down to a semi matte finish. Not as matte as the Neon Matte collection but halfway there. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for each photo in this post, so the opacity and thickness is perfect with these shades for stamping (just not with a fan going)
