Happy Thanksgiving!  I have some beautiful polishes to show you today from Mentality Nail Polish.  This is the newest collection from Mentality, which is the Jellychromes Collection!

This is a small collection with only 4 shades in it, but if you’ve followed Mentality at all, you know they often expand on current collections and I really hope this is one of those collections they expand on.

Shatter

Shatter is a rose pink holographic jelly base PACKED with glass flecks that shift from silver to gold. I used 2 coats for these photos.

As always, refer to the 3 photos above for color accuracy.  The photo below is only to show the holographic effect.

Detonate

Detonate is a blue holographic jellychrome with glass flecks that shift red, orange, yellow, to green.  I used 2 coats for these photos.

Gala

Gala is a blue matte jellychrome with glass flecks that shifts red, orange, yellow, to green.  I used 2 coats for these photos.

Spree

Last up we have Spree!  Spree is a pinkish red jellychrome that with glass flecks that shift from gold to to silver.  I used 2 coats for these photos.

Overview

Ok first off, these are not typical jelly looking polishes, but the bases are definitely jelly.  The intense amount of shimmer within the polishes gives more coverage though so you don’t need to build up for opacity.  With the amount of shimmer though, I was pleased to find there were no dragging issues which can sometimes happen in shimmery shades.

Application was good, and all 4 jellychromes look absolutely beautiful.
