It’s never been a secret – I like simple hairstyles that don’t take a ton of effort. For the most part I just wash it and wear it down, but every once in awhile I like to do a little something with it. My go-to easy style? A braided head band and today TRESemme is going to help with it.
I’ve made a little tutorial in case you want to try it out for yourself. This whole look takes about 10 minutes so I did this before running out the door for work.

Once dry, we’ll start! And yes – this is pre makeup. I was halfway done before I realized.
First take a section of hair in front and clip it back. This is just to keep it out of your way while doing the braid, You will be removing it once the braid is done.
Now take a small section of hair on one side of your head.
Start braiding! You don’t want a super tight braid unless you have really long hair. If you have medium length hair like me, a tight braid will make it too short to reach the other side for a full ‘head band’.
Braid up so that it curves with the shape of your head, this will prevent a bump or loose section on that side when bringing it over your head.
Once the braid is done, remove the clip from the top of your had, bring the braid over the top and clip it behind your ear on the other side. You want to add the clip under your hair so you will hide it
The hair in the clip will be in front of the braid, like long side swept bangs in a sense.
