MAC Limited Edition Feel My Pulse Lipstick Swatch & Review
Recently I was able to snag some items from the MAC Temperature Rising Collection and I have been loving each item I bought!
The star of the collection for me? Feel My Pulse Lipstick! In the past year I have branched out and started using colors a little outside of my comfort zone (I usually stuck to light berry tones) so normally I would have passed on Feel My Pulse, but I’m so glad I branched out and bought this one!
I don’t show full face shots too often – so for those who have never seen me… here you go!
I originally didn’t intend to do a review on this, but I love it so much I had to! Some of you saw this on my Instagram account (photo below!)
MAC Feel My Pulse is a magenta violet lipstick with a soft frosty finish. Not full on frost, but there is a hint of it. I always play it safely and apply my darker lipsticks with a light hand, and this is 2 soft layers of Feel My Pulse and in total, it stayed on for about 3.5 hours before I needed to reapply.
In this photo I’m wearing MAC MSF Natural in Light Plus (my favorite face powder!), MAC Ripe For Love Blush (also from the Temperature Rising Collection) and MAC Feel My Pulse Lipstick!
I will be reviewing more of the items I snagged from Temperature Rising, which includes both eyeshadow quads, Ripe For Love Blush and all 4 Powerchrome Eye Pencils!
One of my favorite things about the collection (aside from the colors) is the packaging! It all is in a bronze, rubberized casing.
Most of the Temperature Rising Collection is now sold out (it was a Limited Edition Collection) but you can still find a few items on the MAC Cosmetics Site, or on sites like Ebay or Amazon. If you turn to Ebay or Amazon, PLEASE check feedback! I don’t know of any fakes popping up from this collection – but MAC fakes are all over the place and they are getting really good at making them believable, unless you know what to look for.
