Happy Thursday! It’s technically my “Friday” at work and I’ll be on a plane tomorrow morning heading to Chicago for the Polish & Beauty Expo! I do have 5 posts to do today before I head out though, so let’s get this going. First up we have Luna Lacquer (Luna Wax! You all know her!) and they created a Trident Gum Series!
The Luna Lacquer Trident Gum Series consists of 7 polishes all inspired by Trident Gum flavors! I actually bought a mixed set of Trident on Amazon and most of these were in there. I bought it for our trip for both Jacob and myself and hadn’t realized it was matched with this until I saw Wild Blueberry Twist on the packaging of the gum… while I was wearing Wild Blueberry Twist.

Luna Lacquer | Berry Twist
Berry Twist is a coral pink jelly base with pink to orange shifting shimmer. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Luna Lacquer | Tropical Twist
Tropical Twist is a pale, slightly milky orange jelly base loaded with orange to pink and orange to gold shifting shimmer. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Luna Lacquer | Pineapple Twist
Pineapple Twist is a pale yellow crelly base loaded with yellow to gold shifting shimmer. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Luna Lacquer | Spearmint
Spearmint is a spring green jelly base with green to turquoise shifting shimmer. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Luna Lacquer | Wintergreen
Wintergreen is a sheer teal jelly base with turquoise to blue shifting shimmer. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
This is one of the sheerest of the 7 polishes for me, but it’s also my top pick.
Luna Lacquer | Black Raspberry Twist
Black Raspberry Twist is a sky blue jelly base loaded with blue to purple shifting shimmer. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
This is another of the sheerest in the collection.
Luna Lacquer | Wild Blueberry Twist
Wild Blueberry Twist is an orchid purple jelly base packed with pink to purple shifting shimmer. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Luna Lacquer | Trident Gum Inspired Collection
This is a nice set overall. All 7 polishes have sheerer bases with really fine, glowy shimmer pigment. Most reach opacity at 2-3 coats, but from my experience – if you have a very opaque nail line then you may need a blurring base or undies for Wintergreen, Black Raspberry Twist and Spearmint. Possibly Tropical Twist, but not as much as the previously mentioned 3.
