Happy Friday! It’s been a long day, but I’m settling in to get some things done. I will have a lot of content coming both to my blog and my YouTube channel this month. To really kick things off – we’re looking at the LUMEN Nails Glass Animals Collection & November Superstition shade!
LUMEN Nails Glass Animals Collection consists of 6 shades that all carry the same large particle shimmer with a blue to violet to green to pink shift as Glass Frog, which made an appearance in the March 2023 Polish Pickup, and then again in July’s Polish Pickup shop. Each shade crafted to reflect and refract light, to be worn alone as a semi sheer or sheer glowy polish or over a base coat to create an endless array of glass like results.
Then we have the November Superstition shade… we are almost coming to a close on Superstition for 2023 and for 2024 – LUMEN Nails is theming the monthly shades as Myths & Monsters!

LUMEN Nails | Glass Dragons
Glass Dragons is a sheer plum jelly base with blue to green to violet large particle shimmer. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
LUMEN Nails | Glass Fawn
Glass Fawn is a sheer, yellow leaning beige jelly base with blue to green to violet large particle shimmer. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
LUMEN Nails | Glass Frog 2
Glass Frog 2 is one of the more opaque shades in the set. This is a darker version of it’s sister polish (Glass Frog) and it’s a medium blue jelly base with blue to green to violet large particle shimmer. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
LUMEN Nails | Glass Swan
Glass Swan is a semi-sheer milky white crelly base with blue to green to violet large particle shimmer. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
This does have a built in top coat to it, so it’s glossy on it’s own – but out of habit, I added my own top coat as well.
LUMEN Nails | Glasswing Butterfly
Glasswing Butterfly is a clear base with blue to green to violet large particle shimmer, as well as holo micro flakes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos. The final photo shows 1 coat of Glasswing Butterfly over Monarch Lacquer Hip Vine (Paid PR)
LUMEN Nails | Pink Elephants
Pink Elephants is a sheer, warm, medium pink jelly base with blue to green to violet large particle shimmer. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
LUMEN Nails | Crescent Moon (November Superstition)
Crescent Moon is the November Superstition shade!
November Superstition was inspired by the superstition of hanging horseshoes for good luck, this superstition is steeped in the idea that horseshoes resembled the phases of the crescent moon and the moon goddess would bless and protect those who nailed a horseshoe above a doorway.
Crescent Moon is a semi sheer, warm beige crelly base with red to gold to amber large particle shimmer. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

My top picks for this release are: Pink Elephants, Glass Dragons, Glasswing Butterfly and Crescent Moon.
