Running just a smidge behind due to all of the Black Friday prep, plus a couple items showing up late. Today we’re looking at the Little Box of Horrors November 2024 offerings and the theme is Jordan Peele!

For the fine details – for all photos shown – I used Vapid Lacquer Commitment Issues Peel Off Base, and for the glossy photos I did Monarch Lacquer Hi-Def Shine Top coat (sent as PR and I’ve also purchased). For all textured polishes, I did use Glisten & Glow Glitter Grabber (PR) and Monarch Lacquer top coat over it.
For my lighting set up I use artificial lighting due to my day job, my set up involves 2 Neatfi XL Lamps from Amazon (affiliate link) as well as this Daylight Company Duo Daylight Lamp (affiliate link).
The shop opened on the 18th and will remain open until the 30th, so let’s jump in and take a look!

Inspiration: The movie Candyman (2021)
Description: Candyman. Candyman. Candyman. is a mustard jelly with a strong red/orange/gold/green shifting shimmer. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
This doesn’t have as strong of an orange hue as my photos show. Mine picked up a LOT on the shimmer. This is more mustardy

Inspiration: One of my favorite comedians and film makers is the one and only Jordon Peele. I got inspiration from a news clipping revealing that he was going to have a horror movie come out this (2024) holiday but it was pushed back to 2026. Maybe sooner? Fingers crossed.

Paradox Polish | It Takes a Village
Inspiration: MOAD (Museum of the African Diaspora) is a contemporary art museum that celebrates Black Cultures, ignites challenging conversations, and inspires learning through the global lens of the African Diaspora -MOAD I picked this museum because its where I learned a lot about Black History, their struggles and the evolution of music and art through the Black experience.

The formula on this was a little on the thick side for me, so you might need a little thinner to get it more where you want.
