November 2021 | Goosebumps / Are You Afraid of the Dark
Happy Tuesday! I had to think about that for a minute. This month is flying by and between work, packaging blog sale goodies and swatching – it’s been crazy. Today we’re going to look at some offerings from Little Box of Horrors November 2021 and the theme is Goosebumps / Are You Afraid of the Dark!
This will be a bi-monthly collaboration shop that will consist of 25-35 makers. Each bi-monthly shop will have either a horror, sci-fi, thriller, supernatural, paranormal, or mystery like theme – and the products will then be inspired by that theme.
The November theme is Goosebumps or Are You Afraid of the Dark – both of which were huge in my younger years.
Let’s jump in and take a look – the shop is currently open so you can grab some goodies!
All Mixed Up Lacquers | Don’t Go In the Dark
Inspiration: “It Came From Beneath the Sink”, Goosebumps Book.
Description: Don’t Go In The Dark is a black jelly base filled with shimmer, holographic glitters in a variety of shapes and sizes in a rainbow assortment of colors, as well as iridescent flakes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Price: $12.00 | Cap: 50
Bernd Offerings | Mystical Mirror Earrings
Inspiration: Are You Afraid of the Dark, The Tale of the Mystical Mirror
Description: These handcrafted pendant earrings feature a beautiful mix of silvery micas along with a custom blend of German glass glitters and shards for a unique broken mirror effect that catches the light with every sparkle.
They measure a total length of 2.75 inches and have silicone earring backs. The earrings themselves are really beautiful on and when the light catches them, they absolutely sparkle and bling all over the place.
These are also light weight and can be worn with a variety of outfits.
Price: $16.00 | Cap: 30
Envy Lacquer | Say Cheese
Inspiration: Goosebumps book “say cheese and die”.
Description: Say Cheese is a light-medium grey crelly base with a rainbow assortment of chrome flakes, as well as a subtle scattered holo. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Price: $11.00 | Cap: 100
Fanchromatic Nails | Stay Out of the Basement
Inspiration: Goosebumps #2: Stay Out of the Basement.
Description: Stay Out of the Basement is a dusty, toned down, yellow leaning tan crelly base with red to gold to green chameleon flakes and green shimmer. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Price: $12.00 | Cap: 60
Glam Angel Cosmetics | Eyeshadow Trio
Inspiration: Watching AYAOTD & Goosebumps with my kids on Friday nights.
Description: This is a set of 3 loose eyeshadows in Scarewolf, Praying Terror and Suit of Horror. All 3 shades in this set have incredible pigmentation and glide on nice and smooth. The shadow themselves feel on the denser side, but were easy to pick up and had minimal fallout for being loose shadow. However – being loose shadow, you will still need to prepare for some fall out when applying.
Below I do show all 3 shadows both with and without primer. Primer is recommended for maximum staying power, but you can see that both ways gives a good, smooth layer of color.
The color descriptions for each in this set are:
Scarewolf is a beautiful medium dark brown shimmer with reddish/rustic shift and very tiny sparkles throughout.
Praying Terror is gorgeous emerald green shimmer with a shift of a lighter lit from within green
Suit of Horror is a medium grey with slight shimmer and very tiny sparks throughout
Of the 2 shadow sets in this months shop – this one is my favorite. I have bluish greyish greenish eyes (depends on what colors I’m wearing and lighting in the room/outside) but this set is the bolder of the 2 and looks really good with my indecisive eye color.
Price: $12.00 | Cap: 20
Glam Angel Cosmetics | Eyeshadow Trio
Inspiration: Watching goosebumps with my kids on Friday nights.
Description: Here is the second trio set. Where the first one was bold and super pigmented, this one is more light and airy, however – apply over primer and it gives a light yet bold look. I do show it both with and without primer below.
2 of the 3 colors in this set are good shades to have for a variety of looks and they can be interchanged with the first set I showed above. This is a lighter, fluffier textured loose shadow set, so I did experience just a touch more fallout than the first set when I used a brush. When I used my finger to press it on more – there was much less fall out. For those newer to loose shadows – fall out is very common.
The color descriptions are:
Viral Vex- is a foiled metallic silver.
Dolls of the Damned- is a gorgeous light/medium shimmery blue with sparks throughout.
Madness Mayhem- is a shimmery white with lots of sparkles throughout.
Price: $12.00 | Cap: 20
Jen & Berries | Fifi’s Feeding Frenzy
Inspiration: Don’t feed the vampire book cover.
Description: Fifi’s Feeding Frenzy is a deep orchid jelly with crystal and ultrachrome chameleon flakes, fuchsia and purple holographic microglitter and white microflakies. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Price: $13.00 | Cap: 120
Lemming Lacquer | The Curse of Camp Cold Lake (Magnetic)
Inspiration: The Goosebumps book The Curse of Camp Cold Lake.
Description: Curse of Camp Cold Lake is a blue jelly base with blue to purple to pink multichrome shimmer, holographic flakes, and silver magnetic pull. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
I only magnetized the middle 2 nails and left the outer 2 alone so you can see the polish both ways.
Price: $ 13.00| Cap: 200
Luna Wax | Go Eat Worms
Inspiration: Go Eat worms by Goosebumps.
Description: Go Eat Worms is a scoopable wax with (wax) worms inside! Scented in Graham Crackers, Lemon Poppyseed, 7Up Poundcake, and Lemon Chiffon. This smells delicious! The scents mingle nicely with each other and you get a nice, fluffy, lemon pound cake type scent with the graham cracker scent mixed in.
This is a nice scent if you don’t want anything too sweet, too fruity or too musky.
Price: $10.50 | Cap: 75
Luna Wax | Vampire Breath
Inspiration: Vampire Breath Goosebumps Book.
Description: Wax melt shaped as a coffin with vampire teeth and a vial of “vampire breath” inside. Scented in – Cherries, Berries, Waffle Cone, and Ice Cream.
I did not want to cut this one – it’s so cute! It’s a deliciously sweet scent and I get more cherries and waffle cone than anything. Yum!
Price: $10.00 | Cap: 75
LynBDesigns | Ermegerd Wax Melt
Inspiration: The ermergerd Gersbermps meme.
Description: Ermegerd wax melt is a 6 piece breakaway wax in a clamshell, and the scent has top notes of orange peel, apples, lemon, mid notes of clove, cinnamon and nutmeg, base notes of cinnamon bark and woods.
My nose picks up a nice balance of citrus, nutmeg and woods. I detect the other notes, but those 3 are the prominent ones for me. It actually would make a really good beard oil scent – it was the first thing I thought of when I melted it.
Price: $5.00 | Cap: 100
LynBDesigns | Fly Away, Byrd (Magnetic)
Inspiration: The Goosebumps book called “Be Careful What You Wish For”.
Description: Fly Away, Byrd is a pale pinky purple base with red to green shifting shimmer, scattered holo flakies, and cream magnetic pull. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Paradox Polish | I Get Goosebumps (Thermal)
Inspiration: The witches in Goosebumps 2: Haunted Halloween movie
Description: I Get Goosebumps is a black (cold) to green (warm)jelly based thermal with emerald green and lime glitters. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
This shade does dry down with texture due to the glitter content, so you might need 2 coats of top coat.
Price: $12.00 | Cap: None
Red Panda Lacquer | A Night in Fever Swamp
Inspiration: The Goosebumps classic The Werewolf of Fever Swamp.
Description: A Night In Fever Swamp is a dark, blue toned purple jelly base with green to teal shimmer. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
This polish does look have a lot of blue in it and I would actually push it into Blurple territory.
Price: $13.00 | Cap: 50

Inspiration: Night of the Living Dummy.
Description: Yee Haw! is a darkened pine green jelly base loaded with red to gold aurora shimmer, iridescent color shifting flakes and scattered holo. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

The Soapy Chef | Goosebumps Resin Coaster
Inspiration: Goosebumps characters.
Description: Resin Coaster with Goosebumps decal. The coaster has a ton of shimmery sparkle and the decal is set into the coaster so you can’t feel any edges or raised portions. This is a fairly large coaster, larger than my hand, and it measures approximately 4″x4″
Price: $9.00 | Cap: 60
The Soapy Chef | Are You Afraid? Spa Manicure
Inspiration: Inspired by Are you afraid of the dark.
Description: This spa manicure treatment is a combination of an exfoliating treatment and a lovely rich masque. It deeply moisturizes and renews your dry skin and leaves it soft and smooth, after just one use. Simply add warm water and the scrub will transform into a creamy lotion-like texture. Scent notes: zesty lemon-lime, honeyed ginger.
This is such a refreshing scent! I want it in a shower gel to help wake my senses up in my morning shower.
The texture of the Spa Manicure is a very fine granule so it is effective exfoliating on more delicate areas.
Price: $10.00 | Cap: None
Nail by Virgo Moon | Happy Slappy
Inspiration: Slappy the marionette, the cause of my childhood nightmares.
Description: Happy Slappy is a subdued lime green crelly base with a delicate green shimmer, as well as lime, black, crimson, and evergreen matte glitters. I sued 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
