I know, I’m late on this again this month and I’m still playing a little catch up, but my post and video are finally ready to go! I’m here to share 11 of the Little Box of Horrors March 2023 items, and the theme is Classics – 60’s!
Okay so nice mix this month and purple isn’t dominating (whaaaat??) Be sure to check out my YouTube video for all 11 items:
Okay so a little about Little Box of Horrors… This will be a bi-monthly collaboration shop that will consist of 25-35 makers. Each bi-monthly shop will have either a horror, sci-fi, thriller, supernatural, paranormal, or mystery like theme – and the products will then be inspired by that theme.
The shop opens on the 18th and will remain open until the 30th, so you have a decently long shopping window.
For the fine details – for all photos shown – I used Vapid Lacquer Commitment Issues Peel Off Base, and for the glossy photos I used Sweet & Sour Lacquer Gloss Sauce. I purchased the Vapid Lacquer Commitment Issues and the top coat was sent as a gift from the maker.
Let’s jump in and take a look!
All Mixed Up Lacquers | Careful What You Wish For
Inspiration: Brides of Dracula
Description: Careful What You Wish For is a medium grey crelly base packed with green to blue to purple shifting shimmer, scattered holo and green to blue to purple ultrachrome chameleon flakes. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Price: $12.50 | Cap: 75
Hearts & Promises | Psycho
Inspiration: The Movie Psycho
Description: Psycho is a blue toned red jelly based linear holographic. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Price: $13.00 | Cap: 300
LynBDesigns | Frankenstein’s Bride Pressed Eyeshaddow
Inspiration: The Bride of Frankenstein
Description: Frankenstein’s Bride is a blackened green to black to red multichrome pressed eyeshadow pan. It’s quite vampy and shifty.
I typically show these applied to my eye, but I came in contact with poison ivy (also why this post is late) and I’m highly allergic to it, and my face kinda swelled shut for a bit, and it’s still incredibly itchy and sensitive so I can’t wear any makeup or face creams or anything. I was hoping it would clear up before shop was over but I’m still suffering – so no face swatches.
Price: $13.00 | Cap: 50
LynBDesigns | I Am Nobody, But Myself
Inspiration: The invisible man
Description: I Am Nobody, But Myself is a black jelly base with purple to pink to peach shifting shimmer and scattered holo and holo flecks. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Price: $13.00 | Cap: None
Paradox Polish | Liquid Vibe – Forbidden Planet
Inspiration: the Movie Forbidden Planet
Description: Liquid Vibe is a liquid lip or eye color in a fun twisty tube with a doefoot applicator. This month’s shade shifts from iridescent blue to green to pink to gold.
The formula of these do dry down on the drier side since it is a matte finish, so I suggest a good balm base to keep it a little moist on your lips. These are super shifty and this is the kind of color I adore for eye shadow inner corner color!
