Happy Monday! Today I have the June 2024 Little Box of Horrors to share and the theme this month is Maker’s Choice!
This month I have 15 items to share, but there’s plenty more in the shop to check out. I did lessen my LBOH swatch load primarily because I needed to play catch up after a busy few months and I don’t think I ever fully caught up with 3 bigger collabs back to back to back every single month. Hopefully with July and my little vacation to Polish & Beauty Expo I’ll be refreshed and ready to go again in August.
For the fine details – for all photos shown – I used Vapid Lacquer Commitment Issues Peel Off Base, and for the glossy photos I did Monarch Lacquer Hi-Def Shine Top coat (sent as PR and I’ve also purchased). For all textured polishes, I did use Glisten & Glow Glitter Grabber (PR) and Monarch Lacquer top coat over it.
For my lighting set up I use artificial lighting due to my day job, my set up involves 2 Neatfi XL Lamps from Amazon (affiliate link) as well as this Daylight Company Duo Daylight Lamp (affiliate link).
For my nails – they are Apres Gel X nails throughout this post, and the style is Extra Short Stiletto. These are clear nails, and I do not use any type of blurring/altering base.

BCB Lacquers | Your Hair. It Looks Like Fire

Description: Your Hair. It Looks Like Fire. is a pale grey crelly base with red to orange to gold multichrome flakes, gold to orange to green multichrome flakes, red to orange to gold glass flakes and black flakes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Chamaeleon Nails | Bridge to Helheim
Inspiration: Inspired by the video game Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice
Description: Bridge to Helheim is a crelly based thermal that goes from blue (cold) to colorless/sheer white (warm) with a variety of dark blue holographic glitters, dark blue matte glitters, and orange/green shifting iridescent glitters. I used 3 thin coats, glitter smoothing topper and glossy top coat for these photos.

Chamaeleon Nails | Follow the Runes
Inspiration: Inspired by the video game Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice
Description: Follow The Runes is a sheer milky white crelly base with a blue shimmer and an aqua glow in the dark effect. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
I used a UV flashlight to charge the glow, however the maker did say this charges well with normal UV rays from the sun.

Paradox Polish | Multichrome Eyeshadow Supernatural
Inspiration: I love watching Supernatural during the summertime.
Description: Supernatural is a multichrome eyeshadow that shifts from dark blue to blurple to cyan to gold at extreme angles.
This is a beautifully pigmented eyeshadow with so much shiftiness to it! While I recommend using primer for lasting power (especially if you have oily lids like me!) my photos show it without any base/primer. It packs a punch!
I also really love these as a liner.
