I have a lot to catch up on and so many things coming up! You might remember that Color4Nails had a HUGE Lilypad Lacquer Preorder “event” earlier this year, and today she’s doing a restock that includes some of those shades. I have 6 of them to share with you.
Before we get into them, I do have to mention that these are beautiful holographics, BUT I couldn’t use any of my top coats with them. As soon as I top coated, the holo dulled so much it looked more like a shimmer. So all 6 sets of photos are taken WITHOUT top coat. Since all of my polishes dulled it significantly (I tried 4 different ones) I don’t have a suggestion on how to bypass it. All of my top coats are quick dry though, and I’ve heard that’s part of the issue.

If You Only Knew
If You Only Knew is a purpley fuchsia linear holographic. I used 3 thin coats and no top coat for these photos.
Of the 6, this is my favorite!
Berried Treasure
Berried Treasure is a deep berry purple linear holographic. I used 2 coats and no top coat for these photos.
Loyal
Loyal is described as a royal blue linear holographic with blue sparkle. The holo flame is blue as well, so it’s more on the subtle side. I used 3 thin coats and no top coat for these photos.
Masquerade
Masquerade is the only non holo in the set I was sent. This is a charcoal grey base packed with purple, silver, gold, green and magenta shimmer.
I used 3 thin coats and no top coat for these photos.
Rawrr
Rawrr is a fiery orange linear holographic. It’s not as red orange as my photos show, it’s closer to a true orange in person. I used 3 thin coats and no top coat for these photos.
Romantica
Romantica is a true medium red linear holographic. I used 3 thin coats and no top coat for these photos.
Lilypad Lacquer Restock at Color4Nails Overview
Lilypad Lacquer has always been a master of holo and her rich base colors draw a lot of attention, and these are no different. My only issue was that top coat (at least the ones I have) dulled the holo completely, so I went without for these photos.
