I’ve had these photos ready to go for awhile, and it’s finally time to post them! Lemming Lacquer has a new collection for Black Friday and it’s the Magicians Collection.
This is a 9 piece collection inspired the enchanting world of The Magicians, this nail polish collection captures the magic, mystery, and drama of Brakebills, Fillory and Further. With bold colors and subtle sparkles, these polishes bring a touch of magic to your everyday look.
I have seen the series and enjoy it, I’ve seen it a few times. For awhile it was in my binge rotation to watch while swatching.
For my lighting set up I use artificial lighting due to my day job, my set up involves 2 Neatfi XL Lamps from Amazon (affiliate link) as well as this Daylight Company Duo Daylight Lamp (affiliate link).
For the fine details – for all photos shown – I used Vapid Lacquer Commitment Issues Peel Off Base (which dries clear), and for top coat I used Monarch Lacquer Hi-Def Shine Top coat (sent as PR and I’ve also purchased). I didn’t feel that a glitter smoother was necessary because these didn’t dry with much texture.

Lemming Lacquer | Julia the God-Touched
Julia the God-Touched is a turquoise blue jelly with pink to copper to gold shimmer, holographic microflakes, and gold holographic microsparks. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Quentin the Fool is a red to bronze to copper to gold multichrome with microflakes shifting green to teal to blue. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Alice the Torture Artist is a black jelly packed with cyan to blue to indigo shifting shimmer. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Lemming Lacquer | Eliot The Spectacular
Eliot the Spectacular is a blackened red to black to red multichrome with red to bronze to copper to gold multichrome magnetic pull, and gold holographic microsparks. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat.
I used the zigzag magnet on the middle and ring nails and let the index and pinky unmagnetized
Lemming Lacquer | Margo The One-Eyed Conqueror
Margo the One-Eyed Conqueror is a royal purple base with gold holographic microsparks and gold magnetic pull. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
I used a zigzag magnet on the middle and ring nails and left index and pinky unmagnetized.

Josh the Lover of Tomatoes is an earthy brown jelly with bright green shimmer. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
