KBShimmer | Perfectly Seasoned Collection

It’s been so busy over here and I am loving it! Prepping to host Thanksgiving and swatching away in between. Next up we’re looking at the KBShimmer Perfectly Seasoned Collection!

The Perfectly Seasoned Collection consists of 12 new polishes, and it also features 2 new sugar scrub scents!

From the maker about the collection:

As fall fades and pumpkins turn from porch décor to perfectly seasoned pies, we start looking forward to the first flurries of snow. Those magical white flakes inspire cozy days, where bundling up and sipping hot cocoa are the only plans. Snowflakes replace leaves, cinnamon fills the air, and we embrace the changing seasons. This winter, KBShimmer presents 12 perfectly seasoned nail polish shades to take you from fall to winter. Launching on Friday, November 22nd, 2024, this collection also features two sugar scrub scents and a lineup of our classic cuticle oils, now available with seasonal scents and rollerball application.

For my lighting set up I use artificial lighting due to my day job, my set up involves 2 Neatfi XL Lamps from Amazon (affiliate link) as well as this Daylight Company Duo Daylight Lamp (affiliate link).

For the fine details – for all photos shown – I used Vapid Lacquer Commitment Issues Peel Off Base (which dries clear), and for top coat I used KBShimmer Clearly On Top (sent as PR and I’ve also purchased). For Glitter Smoother I used KBShimmer Smooth Moves (gifted)

These release tomorrow… so lets jump in and take a look!

KBShimmer | Berry & Bright

Berry & Bright is a vibrant cherry red jelly base with red to pink to soft gold shimmer which gives it an almost metallic like finish. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

KBShimmer | Bundled Up

Bundled Up is a vibrant grape jelly base loaded with royal blue to teal to green to indigo shifting shimmer. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

KBShimmer | Crushing It

Crushing It is a deep forest green jelly base loaded with vibrant green magnetic pigment. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

I used a bar magnet on the middle and ring nails, and a velvet magnet on index and pinky

KBShimmer | Flocking Fabulous

Flocking Fabulous is a white crelly base with a mix of fuchsia, icy blue, green and red glitters. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

KBShimmer | Get Your Knit Together

Get Your Knit Together is a deep indigo jelly base loaded with fuchsia to purple to aqua to blue shifting iridescent flakes and black flakes. I used 3 thin coats, glitter smoother and glossy top coat for these photos.

KBShimmer | How Noble

How Noble is a deep teal jelly base with blue to teal to green color shifting flakes, as well as black flakes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

KBShimmer | In A Flurry

In A Flurry is a silver holo flake topper, and I used 1 coat over KBShimmer Low and Be Bold.

KBShimmer | Kringle All The Way

Kringle All The Way is a classic shade from 2013 (I remember when this originally released!) and it’s a clear base with a mix of metallic glitters in bright red, silver, green, and holographic circles, as well as micro and small hex glitters. I used 1 coat over KBShimmer Low and Be Bold

KBShimmer | Perfectly Seasoned

Perfectly Seasoned is a light caramel tan base with cinnamon undertones and a linear holographic effect. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

KBShimmer | Present Tense

Present Tense is a bold purple base with warm magenta to fuchsia to grape shifting shimmer. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

This color freaked my camera out and it isn’t very accurate no matter what I did – so I do recommend seeing more photos of this one on the KBShimmer site.

KBShimmer | Skating By

Skating By is a pale, icy blue base loaded with holo flakes, as well as soft peach to warm gold shifting shimmer. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

KBShimmer | Watts Going On?

Watts Going On? is a black jelly base loaded with a rainbow assortment of reflective glitters. I used 3 thin coats, glitter smoother and a glossy top coat for these photos.

KBShimmer | Sugar Scrub in Peppermint Cocoa

To Use: Scoop out desired amount. Rub in a circular motion to exfoliate, rinse with warm water. Discontinue use if irritation occurs. Use caution when exiting tub as floors may be slippery. Not for internal consumption.  For best results, do not introduce water into scrub and use within 24 months.  Storage in shower may reduce shelf life.

Peppermint Cocoa smells like a delicious mint chocolate candy! My step dad always had Andes Mints when I was a kid, so this is sort of a nostalgic scent for me!

KBShimmer | Sugar Scrub in Berry Sweet

To Use: Scoop out desired amount. Rub in a circular motion to exfoliate, rinse with warm water. Discontinue use if irritation occurs. Use caution when exiting tub as floors may be slippery. Not for internal consumption.  For best results, do not introduce water into scrub and use within 24 months.  Storage in shower may reduce shelf life.

Juicy strawberries, plump blueberries, and tart raspberries combine in this scrub for the perfect balance of sweet and tart. Notes of vanilla cream, musk, and bergamot round out the fragrance notes, offering complexity to this fruity scent.

Of the 2 new scrubs – this is my favorite! I love berry scented stuff.
