I’m still playing a bit of catch up and I’m almost there. Tonight we will be looking at the KBShimmer Beach Break Collection!

The Beach Break Collection is a 9 piece collection and again we see another nice mix of finishes and colors. I fell in love with a few colors, and only found 1 that didn’t agree with my skin tone… but it was still beautiful.

All 9 of these already released, so you can find them on the KBShimmer site – all info will be at the bottom of the post.

Please keep in mind – KBShimmer usually has a whole team packing orders and hauling butt to get things out the door – but with current things going on, it’s only Christy, her husband and I believe they recruited their teen to help as well. There may be a couple days of delay in shipping (but I’m sure they’re still moving quick)

KBShimmer | Knot Today

Knot Today is a white crelly base with a pink to green to blue shifting metallic flakes mixed in. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

KBShimmer | Water Relief

Water Relief is a pale blue leaning mint crelly with color shifting flakes that shift soft copper to gold to lime. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

My photos pull a little darker and bluer than it does in person.

KBShimmer | Sun Kissed

I loved this color, but it didn’t love me. My skin looked super red because of the warmness of it – but it’s still a beautifully done shade.

Sun Kissed is a multichrome that shifts sunny golden yellow to coppery orange to gold to a pinkish rose gold. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos. There also is like a pinkish red shimmer within – which might be part of the multichrome, but it seems to stand outside of the shift.

Minor brush strokes are visible in this shade.

KBShimmer | The Tide Is Right

The Tide Is Right is a navy blue base with strong shimmer that shifts turquoise to emerald green to navy to indigo. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

KBShimmer | Mermaid In The Shade

Mermaid In The Shade is my top pick. This is a deep, cool toned purple jelly base packed with shimmer that shifts copper to gold to lime to blue to indigo to purple at extreme angles. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

KBShimmer | Lovers Coral

Lovers Coral is a soft, coral leaning coppery pink jelly base loaded with shimmer that shifts pink to soft gold to lime green, as well as a softer linear holographic effect. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

KBShimmer | Turtley Awesome

Turtley Awesome is a vibrant lime green foil metallic with a slight gold shift and some holo micro glitters mixed in. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

KBShimmer | Isle Drink To That

Isle Drink To That is a soft, cool toned pink metallic packed with platinum flakes and holo micro glitters. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos. This one dries down with a light texture, so you will possibly need 2 coats of top coat for a smooth finish.

KBShimmer | Where My Beaches At? (Thermal)

Where My Beaches At? is a bold orchid (cold) to pale violet (warm) to a pastel orchid pink (hot) with green, pink, orange and gold iridescent flakes mixed in. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

I did apply glossy top coat, but the cool temps of our home office (boyfriend loves running the A/C) mixed with the blast of heat to get the warm temps for the polish seems to have given a matte effect for my photos. It is not a matte polish.
