I signed up to receive Julep Maven boxes for the first time last month and received Julep Facial for Hands Glycolic Hand Scrub (along with 2 gorgeous nail polishes, but that’s for another post). I had never thought to use an exfoliating hand scrub before… I use an exfoliating scrub on my face regularly, but on my hands? It never crossed my mind!
Julep Facial for Hands is a double exfoliator using both glycolic acid and apricot seeds making your hands softer after just one use. It is scented with orange oil for a nice, light scent.
How well did it work? Amazingly well. I have really soft hands to begin with, so I didn’t think it would do too much for my hands – but I was proven wrong. My hands were silky smooth after using this and I followed up using Victoria’s Secret Sexy Little Things scented body lotion and I am beyond thrilled with it. The orange scent is nice and doesn’t smell artificial. I would consider repurchasing once this tube runs out (they sent an 89 mL tube, and since a little scrub goes a long way it may be awhile before I need another tube!)
