Happy Friday! I’m running in to share Jreine’s newest creations – the Goodbye Summer Collection!

The Jreine Goodbye Summer Collection is a 7 piece collection with vibrant, shifting shimmer. This is a collection to help transition from Summer to Fall and the color palette is beautifully done… and I love me some shifting shimmer.

This collection drops tonight (the 17th) at 6pm Central and will be available until September 25th at midnight Central.

Let’s jump in and take a look at what there is this time around. As usual – all links will be at the bottom and be sure to browse the shop and FB Fan group to see more swatches.

For a little photo info – I do use artificial lighting for my photos. I work during the day and spend weekend afternoons with my son, so I do my swatching at night and rarely have a chance for natural lighting. My current setup uses GlamCor Pro LIghts and I use the Ultra X Model and this Daylight Company Duo Daylight Lamp (affiliate link). I take all of my photos with a Nikon Coolpix L830 camera (affiliate link.)

Jreine | Beach Bum

Beach Bum is my favorite of the collection. This is a pale, dusty teal jelly base with fuchsia to pink to gold to green shifting shimmer. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Jreine | Blue Jean Nights

Blue Jean Nights is a medium violet jelly base with vibrant blue shimmer. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Jreine | Daydreamer

Daydreamer is a pale, dusty indigo jelly base with densely packed copper to red to green to gold shifting shimmer. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Jreine | Lazy Daze

Lazy Daze is a baby pink jelly base with shimmer that shifts fuchsia to pink to gold to green and a touch of blue at extreme angles. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Jreine | Morning Mimosa

Morning Mimosa (I could go for one of those right now) is an orange jelly base with densely packed shimmers that shift red to gold to green. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

The red shift of the shimmer gives this shade a quick coral like flash in some lighting. Orange isn’t one of my “me” colors – but this looked good even against my cool toned skin.

Jreine | Summer Jam

Summer Jam is a medium bright yet hazy blue jelly base with strong pink to orange to gold shifting shimmer. You can see some green shift in the bottle, but I didn’t see it translate to the nail. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Jreine | Sun Chaser

Sun Chaser is a vibrant yellow jelly base with red to gold to green shifting shimmer. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Jreine | Goodbye Summer Collection

I’m still on my shifty shimmer kick and for most of 2021 (and probably 2020) it’s been my preferred finish. I still love other finishes – but I love the simplicity of it, but it still gives that kick that grabs attention.

I had no application issues with this collection, however – this is a full on jelly base collection and it does rely on the shimmers (which are densely packed) to create opacity. If you have a strong VNL, it might be visible.
