Good afternoon and happy Saturday! I’ve been a little quiet this week, we’re still having things delivered and put together, plus I’ve had some appointments and in my downtime I’m swatching away. Today we’re going to be looking at the Jior Couture _ Jammin’ Collection!

The Jior Couture _ Jammin’ Collection is a collaboration with Delanie at FatCatPawlished! Of course when Del asked if I had time to squeeze this in, I had to say yes. For the past 3 years (3 or 4? time flies, I dunno) rarely a day has gone by that I haven’t spoken to Delanie in some way.

Delanie and I knew of each other for awhile in the indie community, but now we’re mods/admins in 2 or 3 groups together and chat all the time. Definitely one of my closest friends in the indie world, and I would say outside the indie world as well, even though we have yet to meet in person.

Now if you know Del, or even see her around in groups – you probably know she has a weird Space Jam obsession. It borderlines on a fetish, but we’ll say ‘obsession’ for now. She and Sacha of Jior Couture joined forces and created the _ Jammin’ collection (get it… “_” as in space?) clever.

Let’s jump in, these released yesterday – so they are ready to snap up!

Jior Cuture | 23’s Secret Stuff

23’s Secret Stuff is a white crelly base with red and blue small, matte hex glitters mixed in. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Jior Couture | Don’t Call Me Doll

Don’t Call Me Doll is a pale, warm pink linear holographic. It’s a lighter pink than my photos show, but the almost metallic like shine on it gives it a deeper look with my lighting. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Jior Couture | Here’s Your Chance, Do Your Dance

Here’s Your Chance, Do Your Dance is a deep blue jelly base loaded with holographic silver microglitters, as well as neon matte hex and square glitters in a variety of sizes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Please keep in mind that the jelly base becomes more “see through” under lighting like I use for photos – so it’s more opaque in person.

Jior Couture | Hoop, There It Is (Glow In the Dark)

Hoop, There It Is is an orange matte polish that glows in the dark! It’s a very smooth matte that will appear fairly sheer on application, but builds up nicely. I used 3 thin coats.

The matte effect also doesn’t take affect right away – so you have time to even coat your nail before it dries down. This allows for a smooth, even coat.

Jior Couture | That’s All Folks!

That’s All Folks is a bright, true red linear holographic. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Jior Couture | _ Jammin’ Collection

This is a collection that I’m surprised took this long to release considering how long Delanie has tried to squeeze Space Jam into themes over the years. I’m glad it finally happened, and I’m glad that Jior Couture was able to truly capture Delanie’s vision for this set.
