Jen & Berries | Star Trek Villains V2 Collection

Jen & Berries has a new collection that launched today, and it’s the Star Trek Villains V2 Collection!

This is the second Star Trek set Jen & Berries has done – and it’s a 5 piece collection.

To see this set swatched live, check out my YouTube below:

For the fine details, I do use Apres Gel X Nails in Extra Short Stiletto which are clear nails. I do not use blurring base coats or anything to increase opacity of the nails – and it shows during my YouTube videos especially. With the clear nails, if you can see through the tip still – then odds are you will also see VNL through the polish I have on. If you cannot see through them, then opacity was likely reached

I work during the day in a medical office, and on weekends I enjoy day time shenanigans with my son – so most of my swatching is done at night in studio lighting. I also use a fairly basic, older point and shoot camera (Nikon L830) and I don’t do any fun frills to be fancy cause I don’t know how, if we’re being completely honest.

Let’s jump in and take a look!

Jen & Berries | Chaos Theory

Chaos Theory is a medium grey crelly base with black and silver flakes, as well as holo microflakes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Jen & Berries | Queen B

Queen B is a black jelly base with gold to green magnetic pigment, emerald green and gold flakes and iridescent gold sparkle. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Jen & Berries | Seskapades

Seskapades is a blurple jelly base loaded with blue to purple and pink to orange iridescent shifting flakes, as well as black flakes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Jen & Berries | Temporal Incursion

Temporal Incursion is a bold blue jelly base with gold to green to blue shifting shimmer and holo flakes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

This is slightly darker in person

Jen & Berries | The Max Factor

The Max Factor is a burgundy jelly base packed with glowy red to gold shifty shimmer and scattered black to red shifting multichrome. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

A Xenomorph May Be Involved

A Xenomorph May Be Involved isn’t part of the official collection, but it’s tied into it. It’s the brain child of Cate from the Reddit Lacqerists discord as an alternate to my Queen B Borg queen-inspired polish.

This is a cool toned black jelly base with lime to green to aqua magnetic shimmer, platinum microflakes and scattered holo flecks. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

This polish will release (I think) on October 1st.
