I have done a few iPhone related posts on the blog here, especially when I see something I love.  Usually it’s cases, but today is the Intelliglass iPhone 5 Screen Protector.

Here is a blurb from the company, and then we’ll take a look at the product:

Here is a look at what the inside of the kit looks like.

This comes with a clear instruction pamphlet as well as everything needed to prep your phone to apply the intelliGLASS.

Here is everything laid out.  It has an alcohol prep pad, a “sticky cling” plastic shield, the intelliGLASS screen protector, raised button stickers in both white and black (depending on which iPhone color you have), a plastic scraper like piece and a cleaning cloth.

The first step is cleaning your phone’s screen with the alcohol prep pad.  Make sure to get all of the prints, oils and dirt off of there!  After, use the microfiber cloth provided and wipe your phone down again.

Use the dirt clean film provided and remove the backing so you have a sticky side.  Apply it to your phone and lift to snag any dirt particles or fibers off your screen.

Now it’s time to install the intelliGLASS!

Remove the film from the intelliGLASS and hold it, adhesive side down, over the phone.  Gently place it on top of your screen and apply some pressure.  I ran my finger in an X formation from one corner of the screen to the other and back again.  You can also use the plastic scraper to add pressure to the screen.  I applied the black button sticker to match my phone and then I was DONE!

One thing that amazed me… NO BUBBLES.  Those plastic films drove me nuts because I could NEVER get the bubbles completely out.

Overview

The screen protector itself is fabulous.  It feels natural and my finger glides across the screen easily, even moreso than the natural screen your phone comes with.  Because it’s a little thicker than normal protectors, they provide stickers to use as buttons to help out.  I actually switched mine out to a gem encrusted button, but the black one felt and looked natural.

I am really wanting one for my iPad Mini!
