Initial Lacquer Swatches and Review
Tonight I have some lovely swatches to show you that is from a new (to me) brand! Initial Lacquer sent me 4 lovely polishes to review and you won’t be disappointed! The creator is Iris and she’s very enthusiastic about her polishes, which is important to me. How can I get excited about a polish brand if the creator doesn’t seem excited about it? Iris was incredibly sweet and more than helpful when we were chatting about her brand!
Lets get started!
Dream Of Love:
Dream Of Love is a light greyish lavender base and subtle blue shimmer with a mix of pastel glitters in squares and circles. I only used 2 coats of Dream of Love and a glossy top coat. This is such a beautiful Spring polish!

Teal Da End:
Teal De End is a pretty medium teal blue jelly base with iridescent and holo glitters mixed in. I used 3 coats and a glossy top coat for this photo.

Unrequited Love:
Unrequited Love is one of my favorites! It is a deep royal blue jelly base with holographic silver and pink glitters and blue shimmer. I was a little worried when I started applying because it seemed thick, but it self leveled and turned out to apply extremely well! I only used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for this polish and it looks amazing!

Sweet Wedding:
Sweet Wedding is a glitter top coat. It’s a clear base packed with white and aqua colored square and hex glitters and small silver square glitters. I used 1 coat of Sweet Wedding over OPI Don’t Touch My Tutu!

Overall I am happy with these 4 polishes. I had no application issues. Like I said, Unrequited Love was a little thicker than I’m use to, but it didn’t effect the polish itself and I could still easily apply the polish and it leveled out without being unever or gloppy.
Initial Lacquer polishes are 3 free as well as cruelty free.
