About a week ago I introduced you to I A.M. Custom Color Lips2Tips products, and tonight I’m going to be showing you 4 of their nail lacquers!
I A.M. Custom Color is a fairly new indie brand and she sent me a nice variety of items to review and share on my blog. I do still have another post after this to show you, which will consist of cosmetics. For now though let’s look at some of these beautiful polishes!
Freetown
Freetown is a gorgeous cool toned purple creme base with subtle pink and blue shimmer throughout. I used 3 thin coats for these photos.
FreeTown was named after the Capital of Sierra Leone, where Michaela DePrince was born. It was the first town and country to be reclaimed and governed by Freed American Slaves. I was inspired by the excitement and vindication I can assume the settlers and Founders of FreeTown felt. It represented something so hopeful and yet has become so disparaged after decades of bloody civil and diamond wars. It had to be given it’s own spotlight.
Chaos Survivor
Chaos Survivor is a glitter topper that consists of multi color glitter in various shapes and sizes. I used 2 coats over Freetown.
I feel like this one’s name and meaning is pretty self explanatory. Each one of these children that endures and survives these atrocities are chaos survivors, all the way. There are hearts and stars and even some butterflies. Hearts for those that still ache and stars for those who have turned this nightmare into something that makes them standout and shine and butterflies represent transformation, which is something each of these survivors had to do to overcome being just another faceless victim.
Sudan’s Lost Boys
Sudan’s Lost Boys is a pale chocolate brown with shimmer and a subtle scattered holo throughout. I used 3 thin coats for these photos.
This color, Sudan’s Lost Boys, was inspired by and named after all the children that have had their youths stolen and their freedoms. Rebels with a gang mentality that abduct and kidnap young boys and make them kill their own countrymen. They are left with very little real world skills, education or family.
CEDAW In Syria
CEDAW In Syria is a black jelly base with multi colored glitter scattered within. This is PACKED with glitter, but applied like a dream! I used 3 thin coats for these photos.
Overview
All 4 of these shades applied beautifully and without any issue. The cremes were self leveling and dried to perfection, while both “glitter bomb” polishes had no issues either. I was expecting CEDAW In Syria to clump up or to have to manipulate the glitters to spread, but they did it all on their own and looks amazing!
Price: Between $5.00 – $10.00 depending on if you want mini or full size
Where To Buy: I A.M. Custom Color Shop
I will have the I A.M Custom Color cosmetics on the blog soon, so keep an eye out for them!

Sudan’s Lost Boys is gorgeous. Kinda a sad name for a pretty polish, though.
Hey Nidia love,
Thank you so much for the wonderful comments, if you check out my blog, you can see that all my cosmetic inspirations represent different causes and injustices around the world. If you know anything about what the name represents and this particular collection, you will know it is very sad, that is why I donate 25% of my sales to the organizations that would best benefit and that represent that collections outreach and message! This whole collection except the black grelly donate to an orphanage in Sierra Leon Africa called All As One. It is an orphanage for children who have lost parents in the long and bloody civil wars, of which there are many around the world, Sudan’s is just another. I hope that when people love my products they will learn, if they didn’t already know, about some of those that are less fortunate than us, and that their purchase will go to help those that need it most! The Black Grelly, CEDAW in Syria is from The Veil Collection and it’s purchase donates to http://www.StopFGMNOW.org As a female, if you don’t know what FGM is, you should and then I hope you are motivated to do whatever you can do that is in your power to spread the word and end the violence. Thank you all for your kind words and praise! I hope to see you in the shop so I can send you some of your own goodies! Again, thank you all, XOXO, Ashlie Jade
